You know what struck me first about this place? The absolute silence when I stepped inside – which honestly feels like a miracle when you’re smack in the middle of Seville’s old town. I mean, you’re literally steps from Plaza del Salvador (hence the name), but somehow the thick walls of this old building just swallow up all that tourist chatter and flamenco music drifting from the bars.

The apartment itself has this lived-in charm that you don’t get in those sterile hotel chains. The owner clearly put thought into the details – proper blackout curtains that actually work (trust me, Andalusian sun is no joke), a kitchen stocked with decent coffee, and furniture that doesn’t look like it came from a catalog. The bathroom’s got one of those rainfall showerheads, which after a day of wandering cobblestones in 40-degree heat, well… it’s basically heaven. What I really appreciated was the air conditioning that actually cools the place down – I’ve stayed in plenty of Spanish apartments where the AC is more decorative than functional.

Location-wise, you’re in the sweet spot. Plaza del Salvador is where locals actually hang out, not just the Cathedral crowds, so you get authentic tapas bars within stumbling distance. El Rinconcillo is practically around the corner (oldest bar in Seville, by the way), and you can walk to the Giralda in about eight minutes without dealing with the main tourist thoroughfares. The street itself – Capataz Luis León Vázquez – is one of those narrow ones where you might have to press against a wall when the occasional car squeezes through, but that’s part of the old town charm. Parking’s tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re here. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and there’s a decent bus stop on Avenida de la Constitución if you want to venture further out.

The host was refreshingly straightforward during check-in – no overly enthusiastic sales pitch, just practical info about the neighborhood and where to find the best morning coffee (spoiler: it’s at the little place two streets over, not the touristy spot on the plaza). I did notice the WiFi can be a bit spotty in the bedroom, though it works fine in the main living area. Also, if you’re a super light sleeper, bring earplugs – not because of street noise, but because the building itself has character, which means you’ll occasionally hear footsteps from upstairs. Nothing dramatic, just… well, it’s a centuries-old building, not a modern hotel.

Honestly, this is the kind of place I’d book again without hesitation. It feels like staying in a friend’s apartment rather than a rental, and that 9-star rating makes perfect sense once you’ve been there. The combination of genuine quiet, proper amenities, and being right in the thick of things without the chaos – that’s harder to find than you’d think in Seville’s centro histórico.

  Apartment was fresh clean and beautifully decorated , it felt secure and homely . Fresh bakery and supermarket around the corner and a variety of Cafes , restaurants within walking distance . Great location for accessing all the tourist attractions and shopping area for fashion souvenirs and food all within 5 mins walk .
  Seville a beautiful city to explore on foot and you can do so with ease from this location.

  The property was excellent. It was very well equipped and such a fantastic location. The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with and gave additional information about the area.

  Excellent location. Well equipped. Very quiet. To be recommended with some cautions listed below.
  
  What could be improved: Hot water heater was too small. You must take very short showers or wait 30 minutes for it to recover. Also there is no clothes dryer. There is a hanging rack outside the bathroom window but that doesn't help when it's raining. Fortunately there is a laundromat not far away with excellent dryers. Last there is only one electrical outlet in the kitchen for many appliances. Each must take a turn, coffee maker, toaster, microwave etc.

  Amazing location, right behind Iglesia Collegial del Divino Salvador, which is a must see. Walking distance to everything important. Great kitchen and bathroom, nice big beds. Very clean.
  
  What could be improved: The lack of a full length mirror – really missed having one. The mattress in the bedroom is very very soft – great if you like that, not so great if you have back issues.

  Location was in centre, perfect for walking to see everything. 10 Euro local taxi ride from train station. Communications with host very good with quick response to queries. Apartment was well equipped with all facilities for cooking and laundry. And comfortable lounge area for chilling. Very secure,quiet place to stay. We recommend.
