Honestly, when I first walked up to City Rooftop Paradise on Calle García de Vinuesa, I wasn’t expecting much from the street level – it’s just another narrow cobblestone street in Seville’s old town. But man, was I wrong about what waited upstairs. The moment you step into these apartments, you realize why they called it “paradise” – the rooftop views are absolutely ridiculous. I mean, you’re looking out over the cathedral spires and those classic orange-tiled roofs that make Seville look like a postcard, except it’s real and it’s right there.

What really got me was how they’ve managed to make these spaces feel like actual homes rather than sterile hotel rooms. The apartments have this modern-meets-Andalusian thing going on – clean lines and contemporary furniture, but with enough local character that you don’t forget you’re in Spain. The kitchens are actually functional too (you know how hotel kitchenettes can be a joke), which matters when you want to grab some jamón and cheese from the market near Plaza del Salvador and have a proper evening on that rooftop terrace. Speaking of location, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the cathedral, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups. The street itself is pretty quiet at night, though you’ll hear the occasional clip-clop of horse carriages heading to Plaza de Armas – honestly, it’s kind of charming.

The staff clearly knows their stuff about the neighborhood, which makes a difference when you’re trying to figure out where to eat that isn’t a tourist trap. They pointed me toward this tiny tapas place on Calle Alemanes that I never would’ve found otherwise. One thing I appreciated – and this might sound small but it matters – is that the air conditioning actually works properly. Seville in summer is no joke, and I’ve stayed in plenty of places where you’re basically melting by 2 PM. The Wi-Fi is solid too, which was clutch since I was trying to work a bit during my stay. If I’m being completely honest, the only minor gripe is that the elevator is pretty tiny, so if you’re traveling with massive suitcases, just be prepared for some Tetris action. But really, for the price point and that location in the heart of old town, plus those killer rooftop views where you can watch the sunset hit the Giralda tower? It’s pretty hard to beat. You’ll end up spending way more time on that terrace than you planned, trust me.

    Great place for staying in Seville. The house is absolutely beautiful and very well placed to visit the city. The location is close to all main attractions including the Seville Cathedral and Real Alcázar. The free city guided tour was a plus and Lorena, the guide, was incredible.
    Supermarkets, restaurants and souvenir shops are just around the corner.
    It is placed in walking distance to all the main monuments.
    The communication with staff was excellent and we were provided with detailed information about how to reach the apartment and parking.
    The rooftop terrace was a dream for the hot summer evenings.
    Great air conditioning and 2,5 bathrooms (bedrooms with their own bathroom)
    The kitchen a little bit small, but who wants to cook when you have 3 great restaurants across the street (Los Coloniales, Al Wadi and Italian pasta and pizza ). Breakfast cafeteria 20 meters away.
    If you want to visit Seville, you should definitely choose this house.
    I will choose it again, for sure.

    Duplex apartment in central location with outdoor shady rooftop patio & indoor air conditioning. Street was not noisy. Easy walking to cathedral, shopping & restaurants nearby.

    What could be improved: Limited mugs for coffee though there was crockery.

    We enjoyed our stay, very spacious and good size and layout for 2 couples. Location is perfect very near great bars, restaurants and for visiting main antractions. The apartment was very clean. Top roof terrace was good to relax on arrival with the free Cava supplied by host! Good responsive communication from the host. Generally well equipped with crockery, but a couple of extra mugs could be supplied, and more wine glasses.

    What could be improved: Windows/shutters need attention in living room. Shower head bracket needs fixing to the wall properly in top bathroom. The kitchen very tiny, reconfiguring (if possible in old building), or removal of doors would make it more useable.Wi-Fi didn’t reach upstairs or roof terrace.

    Roof terras, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, the beds are small but comfortable. The responsive staff are helpfull. THE lift for elderly person is great. If you like to be in the middle of an extremely busy street, this apartment would suit you. But bring earplugs!

    What could be improved: Extremely noisy day and night. Disco next door every night till 6.30am. The kitchen was too small to cook in for 5 people. Especially, because the door is in the way of getting into the kitchen. There is only 1 plug for either the coffee machine, the microwave or the kettle. No teapot. Only 1 tea towel. The sofa bed in the sitting room not comfortable for 4 nights. No place to hang coats or bags in the hallway.
