Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of places in Seville’s old town, and honestly? This duplex on Calle Conteros is something special. When I first climbed up to the second floor – and yeah, there’s no elevator, but it’s worth the walk – I wasn’t expecting much from what looked like a pretty standard apartment building. But then you open that door and… well, the views hit you immediately. The Giralda literally fills the window, and I mean you can see every detail of those intricate Moorish patterns. It’s the kind of view that makes you grab your phone even before you’ve dropped your bags.
The space itself is actually quite clever – they’ve really maximized what’s clearly a converted apartment. The duplex layout means you get this nice separation between the living area downstairs and the bedroom up top, which honestly makes it feel bigger than it probably is. What I loved most, though, was that terrace. You know how most “terrace views” in city centers are disappointing? This one delivers. I spent way too many evenings out there with a glass of wine, watching the cathedral bells ring at sunset. The sound carries beautifully across the rooftops – you get that whole romantic Seville atmosphere without the crowds that pack the streets below.
Being on Calle Conteros is actually perfect positioning if you know the area. You’re literally a two-minute walk from the cathedral, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups. I could easily walk to Calle Sierpes for shopping or duck into one of those tiny tapas bars on Calle Mateos Gago without dealing with any real distance. The neighborhood has that authentic lived-in feel – you’ll hear actual Sevillanos going about their day, kids playing in the courtyards, that sort of thing. Parking is typical old town nightmare stuff, but there’s a public garage about five minutes away if you’re driving. Most people don’t need a car here anyway – everything’s walkable, and the tram stops nearby if you want to venture further out. One small thing – the building can be a bit echo-y since it’s all traditional construction, so you might hear neighbors occasionally, but nothing that ever bothered me. Check-in was smooth, and the host actually gave me some solid restaurant recommendations that weren’t just the obvious tourist spots. For the price point and that view, it’s honestly a bit of a steal in this location.

Fantastic location in Seville Old Town within minutes walking distance of all major sites yet quiet and peaceful. Stylish apartment with great facilities, fab rooftop terrace and excellent communication from the owners. Thank you for a great stay, would return in a flash!

We loved our stay here, the apartment was beautiful! Decorated to a very high spec, we came during the summer and the AC with the heat was amazing. We particularly loved sitting on the roof top terrace in evenings. Management was super responsive to any of our questions and super helpful for any advice / queries. If we were ever to visit Seville again we'd definitely come back here again!!

The property was spacious and in the perfect location in Seville. The building and the apartment were beautiful – photos do not do it justice. Fantastic roof terrace looking over the cathedral. Restaurants and bars literally on the doorstep ( but quiet and peaceful in the apartment.

The best thing is the location – it couldn't be better! The apartment is in a beautiful building, just steps away from the best Seville has to offer, which is a lot!
We were met at the apartment by lovely people who were so helpful despite their having to wait for our arrival as our evening flight was delayed.
The facilities and layout of the apartment were excellent. We were 2 couples, so the bedrooms on different levels gave a great sense of space and privacy. The seating area on the rooftop terrace, with a lovely view of La Giralda, was a real bonus.
What could be improved: A small thing that no doubt, the owner will have fixed. The ironing board would not stand up, and the cover was not attached as it didn't fit. it was a wonderful very spacious apartment over 3 floors. the roof terrace was fabulous with amazing views of the cathedral.
the location was fabulous right in the heart of the old town but really quiet street. restaurants and bars right on the doorstep.
