Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and CSE García de Vinuesa really surprised me – in the best way possible. The thing is, García de Vinuesa street isn’t one of those touristy cobblestone lanes that everyone talks about, but honestly? That’s exactly why I loved it. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Cathedral (I mean, you can practically see it from some rooms), but you’re not dealing with the constant stream of tour groups that plague the main drags. The building itself has this understated elegance – it’s clearly been renovated recently, but they kept the old Sevillian bones intact. You know what I mean? Those thick walls that actually keep the summer heat out, unlike some of the flashier hotels I’ve tried.

The rooms are what really won me over though. I was expecting standard European “boutique” hotel fare, but the attention to detail was actually impressive. The air conditioning works – and trust me, in July that’s not a given even in four-star places here. The bathroom had one of those rainfall showerheads that usually disappoint, but this one had proper water pressure. Small thing, but when you’ve been walking around the Alcázar gardens all day, it matters. The beds are comfortable without being so soft you sink into oblivion, and the soundproofing is surprisingly good considering you’re in the old town. I could hear a bit of street life in the evening, but it was more charming than disruptive – just enough to remind you you’re in a real neighborhood where people actually live.

What I really appreciate is how the staff knows the area without being pushy about it. When I asked about parking (because driving in Seville’s old town is basically a nightmare), they directed me to a garage two blocks away that locals use – way cheaper than the touristy lots near the Cathedral. The front desk guy also steered me toward this tiny tapas place on Calle Alemanes that I never would’ve found otherwise. It’s that kind of local knowledge that makes the difference. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works well and the location is genuinely useful. You can walk to pretty much everything you came to Seville to see, but you’re staying somewhere that feels more authentic than those converted palaces that charge twice as much. I’d definitely book here again, especially if you’re the type who likes being in the mix without being overwhelmed by it.

  Lovely little apartment in a fantastic location. Opens out to a cobblestone one way narrow street just minutes from the cathedral historical area. We walked everywhere – restaurants / cafes / bars all close.

  I loved that the apartment was so close to everything.
  
  What could be improved: You can walk 15 minutes in every direction and see beautiful architecture, eat in fabulous eateries, shop to your hearts content and soak up the warm sunshine.

  Easy check in. So close to all attractions yet quiet. Plenty of space. Great host, answered promptly. Comfortable bed.

  Almost everything is perfect in this apartment.
  The location is TOP, only 200m from Giralda and in the area are a lot of shops and restaurants.

  Clean, great design, well informed about what is needed to get in and out of property. There were no staff assisting but I understand that it’s not needed. If I’m going back to Seville for another vacation. I will certainly book this place again, no doubt. I really like it

  The apartment is spacious and well equipped, in a very good location for exploring the city. The owners are friendly and quick to respond. They also advised us on choosing a parking space.
