Honestly, when I first walked down Calle Lagar looking for Cuna Sevilla, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the street’s tucked away in one of those maze-like corners of the old town where tourists usually get wonderfully lost. But you know what struck me immediately? The building itself has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “look at me” like some of the flashier hotels near the cathedral.

The whole TheGoodTourist concept actually makes sense once you’re inside. I mean, they’ve clearly put thought into the details without being preachy about it – the kind of place where you notice the quality of the linens and the fact that your shower has proper water pressure, but you’re not drowning in “eco-friendly” signage everywhere. The rooms have this warm, lived-in feeling that’s hard to fake, with local touches that feel genuine rather than like someone raided a souvenir shop. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night, which is honestly a minor miracle when you’re this close to the action. You can walk to Plaza de Armas in about eight minutes (I timed it), and the Alameda de Hércules – where all the good late-night tapas happen – is practically around the corner.

The staff genuinely knows the neighborhood, too, which makes all the difference. When I asked about parking (because let’s be real, driving in Sevilla’s old town is its own adventure), they didn’t just hand me a generic map – they walked me through the actual best spots and warned me about the streets that turn into pedestrian zones at weird hours. The 8.5 rating feels about right to me; it’s not trying to be the Ritz, but it absolutely nails what it’s going for. The common areas have this relaxed vibe where you might actually want to hang out with a book or plan your day, rather than just rush through to get to your room. I spent a surprising amount of time in their little courtyard area with my morning coffee – there’s something about the way the light hits it that just works. If you’re the type who wants to feel like you’re staying in a real neighborhood instead of a tourist bubble, this is your spot. Just don’t expect a rooftop pool or a concierge in a fancy uniform – this place is more about giving you a solid base to explore from, with people who actually care that you have a good time in their city.

  This apartment is a gem. It's well equipped with everything, including a washing machine and tools for cooking. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable and quiet, given its central location. The location is just perfect! Great communication with the host. I strongly recommend staying here!

  The location of the apartment is perfect for exploring the city, only minutes from the cathedral and other sights in the old city centre. The neighbourhood is full of stores and shops, and there is a great bakery/cafeteria just around the corner, as well as some cool tapas bars. The apartment is lovely, well appointed and clean, and quite spacious enough for two people, although the bed is a bit too tight for 2.
  
  What could be improved: Since the apartment is located in the heart of the city, the noise from the passers-by on the street can be heard at all times of day (and sometimes well into the night), but the location is well worth the trouble. Also, the water in the shower was way too hot, regardless of how much you try to adjust the temperature.

  The place is located in a nice area.
  
  What could be improved: The bathroom smelled really bad (rotten)! It was unbearable. We told the owner and he offered to send a cleaning team the next day but they never showed up. We sent him another message which he never replied to. Very frustrating situation to be honest.

  L appartamento molto pulito in pieno centro, tutto è raggiungibile a piedi quindi davvero strategica! Inoltre super equipaggiata di ogni confort quindi è super consigliato per visitare Siviglia in tutta comodità!
  
  What could be improved: Essendo in pieno centro la sera c è un po’ di confusione ma dopo i chilometri percorsi durante il giorno si prende sonno facilmente ☺️

  El alojamiento es sencillo pero funcional. Está en pleno centro de la ciudad pero en un callejón de escaso tránsito, lo que le hace tranquilo. Por su posición, ir caminando a cualquier punto de interés turístico no te supone más de 10 minutos andando
