You know what struck me first about this place? It’s actually on the Alameda de Hércules itself – like, right there where all the action happens. I mean, when you step out the door, you’re literally on Seville’s most vibrant boulevard with those iconic Roman columns towering above. The duplex setup is pretty clever too – you get this feeling of having your own little apartment rather than just crashing in another cookie-cutter hotel room.

The location is honestly unbeatable if you want to feel like you’re living in Seville rather than just visiting. The Alameda has this incredible energy, especially in the evenings when locals come out for their paseo and the outdoor terraces fill up with chatter and clinking glasses. Yeah, it can get a bit lively on weekends (fair warning if you’re a super early sleeper), but that’s part of the charm – you’re in the heart of authentic Sevillian nightlife. During the day, it’s surprisingly peaceful, and you can actually hear birds from the tree-lined promenade. The Old Town designation isn’t just tourism speak here – you’re genuinely surrounded by centuries-old architecture, and places like Plaza de Armas and the Macarena neighborhood are all within easy walking distance.

What really sold me on this spot was how the duplex layout gives you space to spread out. After spending days wandering around Seville’s narrow streets and packed tapas bars, having a proper living area where you can actually relax feels like a luxury. The 4-star rating feels accurate – it’s not trying to be some fancy resort, but everything works well and feels thoughtfully designed. The 8.6 rating makes sense too; I’d probably dock a few points for street noise on busy nights and maybe the occasional quirk you get with these converted historic buildings, but honestly? Those minor issues fade when you realize you can walk to incredible restaurants like Bar Eslava in five minutes, or catch the sunset from the rooftop bars nearby. Plus, parking in this part of Seville can be a nightmare, but they’ve actually sorted that out reasonably well – something that’ll save you major headaches if you’re driving in from other parts of Andalusia.

    The duplex had everything that you need. It was walking distance to everything, and had many bars and restaurants very close by. There is a luggage store so if you are not leaving until later in the day you can leave luggage and later.

    Central position in Seville. Near shops and bars. Apartment was well presented. Very clean and reasonably equipped. Very modern.

    What could be improved: Not really an outdoor space. Nice plants BUT Apartment is on ground floor and if you look upwards past bare walls high above you can see the sky , many metre’s above . Many glasses were provided mainly tumblers ; could have had more than 1 proper wine glass. Small bath towels and one of the bedrooms is open plan with no privacy

    It was perfect

    What could be improved: Absolutely nothing not to like! It didn’t have a kettle but that wasn’t a deal breaker as we used a saucepan to boil water for coffee but a kettle would have been a nice addition.

    Great location – right in the middle of where locals are which made for a very authentic experience. Great a/c and very nice to have three bedrooms. Host very responsive to fixing the washing machine for us.

    What could be improved: Beds are a bit hard and not quite enough furniture for all 5 of us to relax on, but nothing that stopped us from very much enjoying the property.

    The location was AMAZING! Even though this location is close to everything in the center of Seville, the place was quiet. The duplex was exactly as described, with a great vibe that is stylish and contemporary, and super comfortable plus it was perfect for a couple and a family of 3 to stay at for the weekend. It was private and very safe with a key code to get into the building and then a key to get into the duplex.

    We loved the place! The host was very friendly, he met us in front of the building to hand over the keys and was knowledgeable about the area. He suggested places to eat and drink and what not to miss in Seville.

    Location fairly good. Very IKEA feel to the flat which the kids liked. Has a heating system. Well equipped kitchen.

    What could be improved: 1. Sheets and bathroom are clean but it has not been deep cleaned for a long time, so dust balls under the beds, stains on the scatter cushions, oven door filthy, old coffee in the cafetière (which didn't work), etc. 2. Not suitable for young children as exposed staircase and balcony with very wide gaps. 3. I made a mistake with our booking so I got a call at 12.30 to tell us to get out now. We were in the town centre at the time. Of course the error is ours, but it could have been handled more nicely bearing in mind I am travelling with young children and old people. I cannot teleport them to the flat. We let the cleaner in and he was very nice about it. But the communication for check-in and checkout is all handled by Pedro, who we never saw but pressures to know exactly when you will be there, rings you to get out and offers nothing by way of friendliness.

    Lovely apartment in a great location ut very badly managed.

    What could be improved: We were in Sevilla for a wedding.
    Found cockroaches around the flat. Bed headboards and window ledges covered in dust. Gutter in courtyard overflowing everytime you had a shower.
    The owners daughter met as at the property and was very nice but she was accompanied by a large dog.
    I love animals but I am allergic to dogs, and it came into the apartment.
    She did get cockroach spray and treated the apartment when we went out for the wedding.
    But when we came back windows and door to courtyard was left open, probably to air the fumes. That secure as our belongings were in the apartment and more cockroaches came in.

    Excellent location

    What could be improved: Unfortunately the apartment was not cleaned properly before our arrival – not sure if this was due to the Christmas period but had to sweep the floors & there was food waste in the sink plug.
    The downstairs bedroom is not of the same standard as the other 2.
