I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to Dúplex Florida II on Calle Atanasio Barrón, I wasn’t expecting much from the exterior. The building sort of blends into the Nervión neighborhood, which actually turned out to be a good thing since you’re not dealing with tourist crowds right outside your door. But once you get inside, it’s clear they’ve put real thought into making this place work for people who want to feel like they’re living in Seville, not just visiting it.

The duplex setup is what really sets this apart from your typical hotel room – you’ve got proper space to spread out, and honestly, after a long day walking around the cathedral and Alcázar, having a real living area to collapse in makes all the difference. The location in Nervión is actually perfect if you know the city a bit. You’re about a 15-minute walk to the center, but you’re also right near where actual sevillanos live and work. There’s this great little café around the corner on Calle Luis Montoto where locals grab their morning cortados – I mean, you could spend twice as much staying in Santa Cruz and fight crowds for overpriced coffee, or you can walk two minutes and sit with people reading their newspapers and complaining about Real Betis. The metro stop at Nervión is practically next door too, which saves you from the whole “do I walk 20 minutes in 40-degree heat or pay for another taxi” debate.

What I really appreciated was how quiet it gets at night – Nervión isn’t a party district, so you actually sleep instead of listening to drunk tourists stumbling over cobblestones until 3 AM. The staff seems to get that people staying here want a more authentic experience; they’ll point you toward the covered market at Mercado de Feria Norte instead of just telling you to hit up the typical tourist spots. And you know what, for a 4-star place with an 8.1 rating, it delivers exactly what you’d expect – everything works, it’s clean, the air conditioning actually cools the place down (crucial in Seville summers), and you’re not paying Santa Cruz prices for the privilege. The duplex layout means couples or small families aren’t stepping on each other constantly, and if you’re planning to cook some of those amazing tomatoes and jamón you picked up at the market, you’ve actually got kitchen space to work with. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel like you’ve got a temporary home base in the city rather than just another hotel room you’ll forget about in six months.

    Apartment had everything well setup.
    On ground floor so no stairs for suitcases, only to go upstairs to bed.
    Washing machine and dishwasher were great.
    Comfortable bed and apartment nice a big, could easily fit a family.

    What could be improved: Cleanness of shower let the place down.
    An extraction fan should help prevent mould in room and limit rust on steel work frame.

    The location is great, easy to acces and the comunication with the owner is perfect.
    The entrance is directly from outside and the sound prouf is 0, but is a quiet street.
    You have everithyng you need in flat, be carefoul if you have mobility problems because the stairs are very narrow.
    The cleaning is in a spanish way, a little bug here and there, but you have bugspray there and a lot of cleaning products.
    During our stay there were no problems.

    Ottimo appartamento in zona comoda al centro di Siviglia. Spazioso, ben tenuto, fornito di tutti i servizi necessari. Esperienza assolutamente positiva.

    What could be improved: La presenza di un'unica grande finestra che affaccia sulla strada garantisce poca privacy e l'accumulo di un po' di umidità, soprattutto nei bagni.

    Très bonne communication pour l'accueil et les consignes arrivée/départ. Logement très bien situé à la limite du centre historique, parfait pour visiter. Logement situé dans une petite rue calme. Logement confortable et bien équipé.

    What could be improved: La salle de bain mériterait d'être refaite (enduit qui commence à partir et traces de rouille).

    Die Wohnung war sehr nett eingerichtet, mit einer großen Couch, zwei Badezimmern und einer voll ausgestatteten Küche. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, die Gegend war relativ ruhig, dennoch zentral.

    What could be improved: Der Gastgeber war extrem unfreundlich und hat bezüglich der Schlüsselübergabe extrem Druck gemacht – absolut unhöflich; hat komplett den Rest des Urlaubs ruiniert. Die Badezimmer sind sehr hellhörig.

    What could be improved: O alojamento é numa rua paralela calma, no entanto, com um isolamento muito fraco, caso tenha um sono leve aconselho a trazer ear plugs.
    O sítio apesar de funcional precisa de algumas melhorias a nível de decoração. Há peças de mobiliário que estão com alguns defeitos e o sofá e as cadeiras com nódoas e muitas marcas de utilização.
