EME SEVILLA TURISTICA Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to EME SEVILLA TURISTICA on Calle Mateo Alemán, you immediately sense you’ve found something special in Seville‘s old town. The building sits right in the thick of things — I mean, you’re literally steps from the Cathedral and Alcázar, which honestly makes all the difference when you’re trying to squeeze the most out of your time here. The entrance has that understated Spanish elegance that doesn’t scream for attention but quietly commands respect.
Location & Neighborhood
This spot is absolutely golden for exploring Seville, and couples seem to get it — they consistently rate the location nearly perfect for romantic getaways. You can walk to the Cathedral in about three minutes, maybe less if you’re eager, and the Alcázar is practically next door. What I really appreciate is how you’re in the heart of the historic quarter without being stuck on one of those tourist-packed main drags where you can’t move for selfie sticks. The narrow streets around here buzz with that authentic Sevillian energy, especially in the evenings when locals start their paseo.
The Experience
The property has this wonderful way of making you feel like you’re staying in the real Seville, not some sanitized tourist bubble. You know what strikes me most? It’s how the place manages to be thoroughly comfortable while keeping that authentic Spanish character intact. The staff actually knows the neighborhood — they’ll point you toward the little tapas bar around the corner that locals frequent, or tell you the best time to visit the Cathedral to avoid the worst crowds (early morning, by the way).
Practical Comforts
The rooms are well-appointed without trying too hard to impress — think clean lines, comfortable beds, and those little touches that matter after a long day of wandering cobblestone streets. Air conditioning works properly (crucial in Seville summers), and the bathrooms are modern enough to feel fresh. I particularly appreciate how quiet it stays at night, which isn’t always a given when you’re this centrally located. The Wi-Fi is reliable too, though honestly, you’ll probably be too busy exploring to spend much time online.
Why Guests Love It
People keep coming back to EME SEVILLA TURISTICA because it strikes that perfect balance between location and comfort that’s surprisingly hard to find in historic city centers. You’re not sacrificing modern amenities to stay in the old town, but you’re also not missing out on the authentic atmosphere by staying in some generic hotel district. The fact that it consistently scores so highly with couples tells you something — this is the kind of place where you can step out for a romantic evening stroll through the Santa Cruz quarter and be back in your comfortable room within minutes. It’s that simple combination of being exactly where you want to be with exactly what you need that makes it work so well.

Good location, nice room with small clothing rack & bathroom. Communal coffee machine in common area. Small outside space
What could be improved: No mini fridge, room is pretty small, limited light just because of where the room is in the buildingHonglu from Canada – 7 May 2025 (9/10)
location: great, close to many monuments,
The hotel has a lovely court, very bright, drink water cold and hot is available for everyone. My room is clean, shower is spacious and the hot water is sufficient.
Host is very helpful, she make extra effort to let us leave the luggage in the property before the check-in time. We really appreciate it.
We only stayed one night and it happened to be the first day of the April festival. We can hear the noises from the street and also when other guests open the street door.
We love it and will book again if come again. But we will try to avoid the room number 0 since it is very close to the street.Sevie from United Kingdom – 6 May 2025 (9/10)
Location
What could be improved: The room was really small.Carole from France – 3 May 2025 (9/10)
Hidden gem, very clean and well located within minutes from the city center.
Sharland from Canada – 24 April 2025 (8/10)
What could be improved: Wifi was weak in much of the room. And I had a bit of touble getting into the hotel with the codes etc.
Giuseppe from Ireland – 18 April 2025 (9/10)
Everything was clean. Staff nice. They facilitated our check in late night without asking for more money. Really appreciated. And they also kept our luggages for a few hours after the check out. Great position, right in the city centre.
Absolutely recommended
What could be improved: Everything was perfect. Unfortunately we were missing some kind furniture to put clothes and empty the luggage. There was only a wall hanger.David from Australia – 6 April 2025 (8/10)
Excellent location in the maze of the old part of town, navigating in this area, takes some practice. Nicely presented, private, quiet room. Would recommend.
Tomas from Colombia – 29 March 2025 (9/10)
Great location, cleaned every day if you ask for, very clean.
What could be improved: Not a big deal but shower has no door and could have better pillows 🙂Myrna from United Kingdom – 21 March 2025 (9/10)
Room a good size for single traveller , nice double bed very clean and comfortable. I was on ground floor , had a patio. In foyer coffee making and water facilities nice touch . Bathroom good very hot shower . Location very good . Good value .
What could be improved: I would stay again however being of the older generation i prefer a reception to check in . Rather than waiting for a code to get into building and room . I could leave my luggage and checkin at 3 pm . I didn’t get back til late so my luggage was locked in the cleaning cupboard as no staff around . I phoned the owner who got back to me very quickly and remotely opened the door to get my stuff . Once I got used to this set up it was no problem . The owner was very patient and my calls with questioned quickly . Recommend this property .Tania from Romania – 12 March 2025 (9/10)
The location is very good, the building it's a nice tipical andalusian experience itself.
The room was very clean.
What could be improved: You have to be aware that he size of the room is a bit small, it's an accommodation you only sleep at. There is no desk and the clothes hanger could be improved. It's a good choice for the ones who love to explore the city rather than stay at the hotel.
Also, there is free water, tea and coffee in the lobby at any time and that was helpful.
