The name actually tells you everything you need to know – there’s this gorgeous traditional patio right in the heart of the place that feels like you’ve stumbled into someone’s well-kept family courtyard. I mean, you’re literally on Calle Torneo, which honestly isn’t the prettiest street in Seville (it’s one of the main roads circling the old town), but step inside and it’s like entering a completely different world. The location is actually brilliant if you think about it – you’re close enough to walk to the Cathedral and Alcázar without dealing with the tourist chaos of staying right in the thick of things, plus Isla Mágica theme park is practically next door if you’re traveling with kids or just want to embrace your inner child.

What really gets me is how they’ve managed to nail that authentic Sevillian vibe without feeling like a museum. The patio has those classic blue and white tiles, orange trees (the smell in spring is incredible), and you can actually hear the fountain trickling in the morning when the city’s still quiet. I stayed here during Semana Santa once, and while everywhere else was absolutely mental with crowds, this felt like a peaceful refuge where I could decompress after hours of watching processions. The rooms aren’t huge – this is a historic building after all – but they’re thoughtfully designed with traditional touches that don’t feel forced. Air conditioning works well too, which honestly matters more than charm when it’s 40 degrees in July.

The staff here genuinely knows their stuff about the city. Not just the obvious tourist spots, but they pointed me toward this tiny tapas place on Calle Betis that I never would’ve found otherwise, and they helped me figure out the bus situation to get to the airport (which, let’s be real, isn’t the most straightforward from this part of town). Parking can be tricky since you’re in the old quarter – there’s a public garage about a five-minute walk away, but honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re settled. Everything’s walkable, and the tram stop at Plaza de Armas is close enough that you can easily explore other neighborhoods. The breakfast spread is solid – proper jamón ibérico, fresh orange juice (this is Seville after all), and strong coffee that’ll fuel your morning wandering. That 9.3 rating makes total sense when you experience the whole package – it’s not trying to be a flashy international chain, but rather a place that gets what makes Seville special and lets you experience it authentically.

  What could be improved: maybe more light in the flat but I guess in the hot months it s so hot in Sevilla, you don't want big windows that heats up the place. I was there in winter so yeah maybe more light would make the place more cozy.

  The host was very helpful. The apartment had a few nice touches that not all hosts bother with. The apartment is in a great location for exploring Seville on foot and also near the bus stop.

  Appartamento situato in quartiere tranquillo vicino al fiume dove si possono fare delle belle passeggiate. Ben arredato, molto pulito e silenzioso. Materassi e divano letto molto comodi. Il centro dista 15 minuti a piedi ma si raggiunge comodamente con una passeggiata e a soli 200 metri si trovano locali e negozi.
  
  What could be improved: L appartamento si trova a piano terra ed è poco luminoso, ma in realtà rimanendo fuori tutto il giorno non è un problema.
