Hotel Description
You know what caught me off guard about Entrecatedrales Suite? The name actually makes perfect sense once you’re standing there on Calle Pajaritos – you’re literally positioned between Seville’s cathedral and the Alcázar, though honestly, I didn’t realize how perfectly situated it was until I stepped out for my first morning coffee. The building itself has that typical Sevillian charm with whitewashed walls and iron balconies, but inside it feels surprisingly modern without losing its character. I mean, they’ve clearly put thought into the renovation – the suites have these gorgeous tile floors that stay cool even when it’s blazing hot outside (which, let’s be real, is most of the time from May through September).
What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays despite being right in the heart of the old town. Calle Pajaritos isn’t one of those main tourist drags where you get the constant clip-clop of horse carriages and tour groups at all hours – it’s more of a local street that happens to put you a three-minute walk from the cathedral. The staff actually knows the neighborhood, too, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how rare that is. They steered me toward this tiny tapas place around the corner on Calle Mateos Gago that I never would’ve found otherwise, and when I mentioned wanting to avoid the crowds at the Alcázar, they told me exactly which entrance to use and what time to show up. The suites themselves are spacious – I had room to actually unpack my suitcase, which doesn’t always happen in European hotels – and the kitchenette came in handy for storing jamón and cheese from the Mercado de Triana.
Here’s the thing about staying in Seville’s old town: you’re either going to love the constant energy or it’s going to drive you crazy. Entrecatedrales Suite sort of splits the difference perfectly. You get all the atmosphere – the narrow cobblestone streets, the orange trees, the sound of flamenco drifting from restaurants – but you can actually sleep at night. The 8.4 rating makes sense to me; it’s not perfect (the Wi-Fi can be spotty, and good luck getting a taxi to find you on these tiny streets), but it nails the essentials. If you’re planning to spend your days wandering between the cathedral, the Alcázar, and the Santa Cruz neighborhood, you honestly can’t ask for a better base. Just remember that parking is basically impossible here, so either skip the rental car or be prepared to use one of the public garages a few blocks away.

This apartment is literally in the middle of the action, in the heart of downtown Seville. It is very spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed is not super comfortable, but is nice and clean.
What could be improved: The parking situation was very inconvenient. We had to walk about 18 minutes and pay €60 for two nights of parking.Janine from Australia – 14 October 2023 (9/10)
Spacious clean flat, very secure and well located for us. Easy arrival, host sent the door code and communicated well though we did not meet them. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. Washing machine and good kitchen area.
What could be improved: There is some street noise because you are in the city in a narrow lane, wasn't a bother.Jessica from United Kingdom – 27 September 2023 (8/10)
The property location was spot on! Right in the middle of everything and never more than a 15-20 minute walk to the whole of the city! Really recommend for people there to explore!
What could be improved: The aircon did not work. It said it was on, it was blowing air but not cold air. No guidance in the Apartment given.
Downside of being so central was that there were quite a lot of loud disturbances throughout the night, whether it being people howling and walking through the streets below or the nightly bin collection at 3am… we woke up for all of them, despite having all the windows and doors shut.
Also instruction on how to find or access the flat was not forthcoming and it took for me to be outside the flat at the address to have to call (on WhatsApp) the owner to give me directions. Either it wasn’t clear where this was in Booking.com or they just hadn’t been communicated effectively!Katarina from Croatia – 24 November 2022 (8/10)
The appartment is verry comfortable, clean and spacious. The position is perfect, right in the city centre and walking distance to all the attractions. Since our flight arrived late in the evening we found the keyless sistem to enter verry convenient-no need for the owner to wait for us for check in.
What could be improved: The kitchen is fully equipped, except for the kitchen towels, it would be good to have at least one. It's verry noisy-you can hear people on the street, drunk persons laughing and screaming, garbage being collected, and the neighbors upstarirs yelling like they are alone in the whole building. Fortunately there's a pharmacy right around the corner and we solved the problem with earplugs!Eva from Czech Republic – 6 November 2022 (9/10)
What could be improved: i would suggest to add more dishes
Chloe from United Kingdom – 9 September 2022 (8/10)
very modern, spacious and great location
What could be improved: very noisy from early in the morningGaspard from Belgium – 6 September 2022 (8/10)
Sparkling clean, well designed and comfortable.
What could be improved: Very good location and quality. Would have been nice to have dishcloth or a sponge. Other than that, very happy.Oscar from United States – 5 July 2024 (7/10)
Location
What could be improved: Mattresses were very soft and uncomfortable.Patricia from Spain – 12 October 2023 (8/10)
The position of the apartment was perfect – easy walking distance to everywhere. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos and description. The shutters that close to blacken the room at night are wonderful! It was a nice touch to include water in the fridge, coffee and milk supplies and bathroom products
What could be improved: The apartment (6) is on the second floor, not on the first floor as described on the entry document – so it took some time (at night) to find it – this is easily fixed. Some pimple information in the apartment would be very helpful – eg that the AC control is fixed to the wall near the front door (and is not a remote control). The apartment is noisy – lots of noise from the street (but I brought ear plugs which worked)! Last minor thing – more than 2 clothes hangers would be appreciated – even for 4 days, 2 is not enough to hang your clothes.Kaycee from United States – 3 October 2023 (9/10)
It is beautiful and the pictures do not do the apartment justice! It is even better than we imagined. Extremely clean and well maintained with comfortable furniture.
What could be improved: Nothing about the apartment itself. As a foreign traveler it would have been convenient to have a guide on how to use the appliances but not a huge deal.
