But man, was I wrong. This apartment is actually tucked right into the heart of Seville’s old town on Calle Julio César, and I mean *right* in the thick of things. You know how some places claim to be centrally located but you still end up walking twenty minutes to get anywhere decent? Not here. You’re literally a two-minute stroll from the Cathedral, and the Santa Cruz neighborhood – you know, those impossibly narrow cobblestone streets everyone puts on Instagram – is right at your doorstep.

What really got me though was how they nailed the balance between luxury and livability. The apartment itself feels genuinely new (hence the “NUEVO” I guess), with this sleek modern design that somehow doesn’t clash with being in a building that’s probably older than most countries. The kitchen actually works – I mean, you can cook real meals in it, not just heat up sad hotel breakfast. And honestly, the free parking thing is huge. I don’t know if you’ve ever tried to park in Seville’s old town, but it’s basically a nightmare of one-way streets and spots the size of shopping carts. Having a guaranteed place to dump your rental car? Worth its weight in gold. The whole area gets pretty lively at night – this is Spain after all, dinner doesn’t even start until 10 PM – but the windows are solid enough that you’re not lying awake listening to every conversation on the street below.

Here’s what really sealed it for me: the location puts you in walking distance of literally everything worth seeing, but you’re on a side street that doesn’t get the full tourist stampede. Plaza de Armas is maybe five minutes if you walk slow, the Alcázar is close enough that you could pop back for a siesta between morning and evening visits (which, by the way, you should absolutely do because Seville in July will melt your face off). The rating of 9.2 actually makes sense when you stay here – it’s not just people being generous because they had a good vacation. The details matter, you know? Like having enough outlets near the bed, or towels that are actually absorbent, or a shower with decent water pressure. Small stuff that drives you crazy when it’s wrong, but you barely notice when it’s right. If you’re planning to really explore Seville instead of just checking boxes on a tourist list, this place gives you a proper home base without the sterile hotel vibe or the sketchy hostel experience.

  Javier is the loveliest, kindest host, who gave so much of his personal time to take us through all the local attractions, recommending local places to eat, as well as maps and directions.
  I travel 6 to 10 times a year and he was the most invested host I've ever met. He really gave his all to ensure our trip was the very best it could be.
  This top rating was not just for his amazing apartment but also for him as the most fantastic host.

  We were met by javier the owner, he took us on a tour of the apartment and showed us everything, he then sat us down and gave us a 15 minute talk on the local amenities and things to do, javier had created a map and a list of restaurants, supermarkets etc. a very sociable and friendly host who really wants his guests to enjoy all that Seville has to offer.

  Appartement très bien placé, très propre et très bien entretenu avec tout ce qu'il faut (la cuisine est particulièrement bien équipée). Pour quatre personnes, c'est parfait, au-delà peut-être un peu juste.
  En hivers, il y fait un peu frais mais des radiateurs d'appoint sont prévus en plus de la climatisation réversible.
  La rue est plutôt calme et l'appartement est lumineux. Il n'y a pas de mauvaises odeurs comme souvent dans les appartements à Séville.
  L'hôte, Javier, vous accueille avec bienveillance jusqu'à même vous attendre dans la rue à l'arrivée du taxi. Sa communication en amont est efficace et il prend du temps ensuite pour vous donner de bons conseils afin que votre séjour soit réussi. Il y a même de petites attentions pour vous dans l'appartement (chocolats, vin).
  Enfin, le prix est absolument raisonnable.
  Bref, un sans faute !

  Просторная квартира в самом центре города. Очень много парковок рядом, удобные и вкусные кафе для ужина и завтрака. Удобные кровати, эстетика квартиры, чистота, очень приятный и четкий хозяин, помог разобраться во всем.
