Look, I’ll be honest – when I first saw the name “Epicenter Lujoso,” I rolled my eyes a little. It sounds like something a marketing team dreamed up, right? But then I actually stayed here, and you know what? The name kind of fits, even if it’s a bit much.

This place sits right on Calle Rafael González Abreu, which – if you don’t know Seville’s old town – is basically tucked into this perfect pocket where you’re close to everything but not drowning in tourist chaos. I mean, you can walk to the Cathedral in maybe eight minutes, but when you’re coming back in the evening, you actually escape into this quieter residential street where locals are still hanging laundry from their balconios. The apartment itself is on the second floor (that’s tercero for Americans getting confused by European numbering), and honestly, the climb is worth it. The space feels genuinely luxurious without being stuffy – marble floors that stay cool even in July heat, and these massive windows that let in all that golden Andalusian light everyone talks about.

What really sold me, though, was the practical stuff that actually matters when you’re traveling. Free parking in Seville’s old town is basically like finding a unicorn – I’ve circled those narrow streets for an hour before just trying to find a paid spot. But they’ve got you sorted here, which takes away that whole stressful dance of unloading luggage while blocking traffic on some medieval alley. The kitchen is actually usable too (not one of those hotel kitchenettes with a broken coffee maker and two sad plates). I ended up cooking a few meals because the local market on Calle Feria is just a quick walk away, and there’s something nice about making breakfast with jamón ibérico and fresh tomatoes while planning your day. The AC works properly – and trust me, in August in Seville, that’s not a given even in nice places. I could hear some street noise in the early evening when people were heading out for tapas, but honestly? It felt like part of the experience, not an annoyance. By 11 PM it quiets down, and the thick walls of these old buildings really do their job.

The whole setup just works in a way that makes you feel like you’re living in Seville rather than just visiting it. You’re close enough to duck into El Rinconcillo (oldest tapas bar in the city, locals will tell you) for a quick drink, but far enough from the cruise ship crowds that descend on the Cathedral area every morning. I ended up extending my stay an extra two days because – well, honestly, because I didn’t want to leave. It’s got that 9.9 rating for a reason, and after staying in plenty of places that promise the world and deliver a decent bed and sketchy WiFi, this felt like someone actually thought through what travelers need and want.

  It was the best apartment we had ever rented in Europe, and best service provided by the host Javier. He met us to show and explain everything about apartment, gave us the list of best restaurants and attractions and marked them on the map. The apartment is situated in the city center, but is very quiet. Rooms are very spacious , clean, with central AC. Beds are very comfortable. Thank you Javier for exceptional service.
