Escapada Romántica, 2 pax, Centro Histórico Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Escapada Romántica, 2 pax, Centro Histórico on Calle Francos, you immediately know you’ve found something special. This isn’t your typical hotel — it’s more like stepping into someone’s carefully curated home right in the beating heart of Seville‘s old town. The building itself has that weathered Andalusian charm you see throughout the historic quarter, and honestly, the location couldn’t be more perfect if you tried.

Location & Neighborhood

I mean, when couples rate the location a perfect 10 out of 10, you know there’s something magical happening here. Calle Francos sits right in the thick of everything — you’re literally surrounded by tapas bars, flamenco venues, and those narrow cobblestone streets that make Seville so enchanting. The Cathedral and Alcázar are just a few minutes’ walk away, but what I really love is how you can duck into authentic local spots that tourists staying in the newer parts of town never discover. You know what’s great? You can stumble back from dinner without worrying about taxis or long walks through unfamiliar areas.

The Space

The apartment itself feels intimate and thoughtfully designed for couples — hence the “2 pax” right in the name, which I actually appreciate for its honesty. It’s not trying to be something it’s not. The space has this cozy, romantic vibe that works perfectly for a getaway, with traditional touches that remind you you’re in Andalusia without going overboard on the tourist kitsch. The fact that it’s on the first floor (that’s the second floor for Americans) means you get some nice street views while avoiding too much of the late-night noise from the bars below.

Daily Life Here

What struck me most was how easily you slip into the rhythm of Seville life staying here. Mornings, you can grab coffee and pastries from the bakery practically next door, then spend your day exploring without ever feeling like you need to rush back to some distant hotel. The neighborhood has this lived-in authenticity — actual Sevillanos going about their daily business alongside the restaurants and shops. Evenings are when the magic really happens, though. The whole area comes alive with that Spanish energy, and you’re right in the middle of it all.

Why Guests Love It

That 8.9 rating and the exceptional location score of 9.7 tell the real story here. People come for the romance and the authentic Seville experience, and this place delivers on both fronts. It’s not about fancy amenities or room service — it’s about waking up in the actual heart of one of Spain’s most beautiful cities and feeling like you belong there, even if just for a few days. For couples especially, there’s something undeniably special about having your own little corner of the historic center to call home.

Reviews of Escapada Romántica, 2 pax, Centro Histórico

  • Zita from Hungary – 16 June 2025 (9/10)

The accommodation is very cozy and is located in the historic city center, a few minutes walk from the main attractions.

  • Chemaine from Australia – 21 May 2025 (8/10)

    Location

What could be improved: Poorly positioned tap over bathroom basin.
Microwave oven door and display didn’t work. No toaster.

  • Jacqueline from United States – 11 April 2025 (6/10)

Location and it is a spacious apartment with comfortable bed. It could be a 10 out of 10.

What could be improved: Check-in was very confusing with multiple communication modes, poor instructions for finding the apartment and the keys. The apartment has great amenities but they are poorly maintained, the bathroom tap is loose and spills water over the sides, soaking the user and the floor, the microwave is difficult to open and use as display is broken, non functional light fixture.

  • Kevin from United States – 17 March 2025 (9/10)

Location is great, on one of the small winding streets with lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Short walk to the Cathedral. The apartment was comfortable and quiet for the location. You pick up your keys from a lock box on the door which made check in a breeze. Once key opened the gate and entry to the apartment complex, the other opened the apartment. It felt totally safe and secure.

What could be improved: There is only a washing machine and no dryer, just drying rack. We found a great laundry close by which did all our clothes for 10 euros.

  • Christina from United States – 27 December 2024 (9/10)

The location is excellent — right in the historical Santa Cruz neighborhood with views of the cathedral if you go out to the Juliet balcony and look to your right. It’s very nicely decorated, and feels like a home. The bathroom is big and modern, and the water heater is strong. The WiFi is fast, there’s a supermarket a few minutes away, and there’s an elevator if you have luggage. It’s in the pedestrian only area so you’ll get dropped of by a cab approximately 5 min away.

What could be improved: We had a great stay!

  • John from United States – 12 June 2024 (9/10)

The apartment was spotless, very comfortable and the location could not have been better. We would stay there again without a doubt. The location is literally steps away from everything on a very nice street. The cathedral, the Alcazar plaza very, very close.

What could be improved: Getting the key was a little tricky, possibly because of the language.

  • Charles from United States – 27 May 2024 (9/10)

Great location in the center of historic district.

What could be improved: Had to use gate key to leave the building.

  • Hannah from United Kingdom – 12 May 2024 (9/10)

Location was amazing, all the facilities you could need, very clean, good host

What could be improved: Nothing bad

  • Robin from Canada – 4 October 2022 (9/10)

This was our favourite apartment during our trip to Spain. It was spacious with a perfect location, close to everything in the historic centre. Comfortable furnishings, nicely decorated, and very clean. Spacious rooms with good storage. Very comfortable bed. There was some noise at night (a bit more on the weekend) but closing the doors and shutters helped a lot. We realized that we're in the city, so it's expected. Loved watching the activity below from the balconies.

  • Tatjana from Estonia – 21 June 2022 (9/10)

Very nice apartments in the heart of the old town.
