Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of Seville apartments, and this penthouse on Calle de Placentines is honestly something special. The moment you climb those final stairs and step onto that terrace – I mean, wow. You’re literally staring at the cathedral’s Gothic spires from what feels like your own private viewing box. It’s the kind of view that makes you grab your coffee and just stand there like a tourist in your pajamas, which I definitely did more than once.

The location is what really gets me though. Placentines is this narrow cobblestone street that most tourists rush past on their way to the cathedral, but you’re actually living on it. You can hear the morning bells (they’re not as intrusive as you’d think), and honestly, being able to duck home between the Alcázar and your evening tapas crawl? Game changer. The building itself has that weathered Sevillian charm – thick walls that actually keep things cool during those brutal summer afternoons, though fair warning, there’s no elevator. Worth every step for that terrace, but pack light if you can.

What I love is how the place feels authentically local despite being tourist-adjacent. Your neighbors are actual Sevillanos heading to work, not just other travelers. The guy at the corner café – Café Central, you’ll find it – knows his regulars, and after a few days, you start to feel like part of the rhythm. The apartment itself is well-maintained, modern where it needs to be but doesn’t try too hard to be Instagram-perfect. The kitchen actually works (revolutionary concept, I know), and there’s enough space to spread out, which matters when you’re doing Seville properly and need somewhere to retreat from the intensity of it all. The 9.1 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it delivers exactly what it promises, and that terrace… well, you’ll spend more time up there than you planned. Just don’t forget sunscreen; the Andalusian sun doesn’t mess around, even in spring.

  The location was perfect, just a few steps away from the cathedral, great restaurants, convenient store, and pharmacy. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. Jaime y Paula were friendly and responsive.

  The location was very central.
  
  What could be improved: The toilet didn’t flush at all. We were left overnight with no toilet and when they “fixed” it the next day only a trickle of water came out, not enough to flush anything away. This was extremely difficult not to have a working toilet and no alternative or refund was offered to us. We will never stay here ever again.

  Tout ! L appartement est très joli, propre avec une belle terrasse et l emplacement est idéal vous pouvez tout faire à pied mais surtout l équipe Luxme qui vous accueille est incroyable. Nous voyageons souvent et j ai rarement eu des personnes aussi disponibles.Ils nous ont beaucoup aidé pendant notre séjour à régler nos problèmes ( perte de téléphone et vol annulé…) Sans eux notre séjour à Séville aurait pu tourné à la catastrophe mais grâce à Jaime et son équipe nous avons pu passer de bonnes vacances.Un grand merci à eux 🥰.
