Look, I’ve stayed in my fair share of cramped European “studios,” so I was honestly a bit skeptical when I booked this place on Calle San Luis. But MSHOLIDAYS really nailed it here – this isn’t one of those glorified closets they try to pass off as apartments. The space actually breathes, you know? Walking in, I was surprised by how thoughtfully they’d laid everything out. The kitchenette isn’t just for show either (I mean, you can actually cook something more elaborate than instant ramen), and there’s this nice separation between the sleeping area and the little living space that makes it feel less like you’re camping in someone’s office.

What really sold me on the location was stepping outside that first morning. You’re literally a three-minute walk from the Cathedral – and I’m talking a leisurely stroll, not power-walking. The thing is, Calle San Luis sits just perfectly in that sweet spot where you’re right in the thick of everything but not getting steamrolled by tour groups at 7 AM. I’d grab my coffee from this tiny place around the corner (Bar San Luis, if you’re keeping track) and honestly felt like I’d cracked some sort of Seville code. The Alcázar is right there too, which saved me so much time – no metro juggling or trying to decipher bus routes when you’re half-awake.

Here’s what I really appreciated though – the noise situation is way better than you’d expect for being smack in the old town. Yeah, you’ll hear some street life (it’s Spain, after all), but nothing that kept me up. The building itself feels solid, not like those places where you hear every footstep from three floors up. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward too – none of that “meet me at a random café with exact change” nonsense you sometimes get with these smaller operations. The whole setup just works, honestly. I stayed during late spring when Seville gets pretty packed, and having this little home base where I could actually spread out and regroup between wandering sessions made all the difference. It’s not trying to be some Instagram-perfect luxury situation, but for what it is – a really well-done studio in an unbeatable location – it delivers exactly what you want.

  First of all the host is super kind and concerned, and they have a clear instructions manuel with recommendations for your stay. Special thanks to Mamen who came all the way to check if I got into the building okay and need anything. The place is also spic and span with 100+ points for cleanliness! It even smells great. The room is well stocked with not only pots and pans for the kitchen, but also spices, oil and other ingredients to cook with so you dont have to buy little groceries for a few days. The washing machine is also provided with a soap detergent, which is very generous and thoughtful of the host. The room is designed beautifully with exquisite taste- candles, aromas and super comfortable pillows and earthy bedding, and best- a Nespresso machine with great qulality coffee capsules. Everything about the place is fantastic. The location is also excellent, and allows you to explore Old Town Sevilla, and 20 mins walk from the major tourist attractions in the city. Wifi is very fast and reliable. Overall excellent. Very grateful to Mamen and her partner- they have maintained a high standard of accommating guests.
  
  What could be improved: This was the only difficult part of the entire stay. The arrangement is that once you arrive, you call the host and they buzz you in through the electronic door (the hosts do not live in the building, and buzz you in remotely). So for foreigners who don't have a local sim card or access to wifi on the street, there was no way to coordinate with the host when I arrived, and I was waiting outside for more than half and hour trying to buzz other doors in case someone can let me in (which no one did). I had to ask passers-by if I could use their phone to make a local call, and most of them were also tourists so no one had a local phone network. All nearby shops were closed as it was a weekend. After a long time, a Spanish lady was kind enough to let me make the call to the host, who then immediately buzzed me in. The host was super concerned though and came all the way from her home to check in on me to ensure that I got in safely.
  
  Except the difficulty in checking in, the rest was a smooth and peaceful stay. I also wish the studio had a window or some natural light, but otherwise everything was beyond excellent!

  Very well equipped apartment, nice and cosy, with a comfortable bed and sofa.
  It is well located, 20min walk from the city center with a lot of bars and restaurants in between. The owners were very kind!

  Lokalizacja, pełne wyposażenie apartamentu, spokój i cisza pomimo że apartament przy głównej ulicy, czuliśmy się bardzo bezpiecznie. Klimatyzacja, ogrzewanie działało bardzo sprawnie.
