Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of Seville hotels over the years, and Eva Recommends Giralda honestly surprised me – in the best possible way. The moment you step inside from Calle Cabo Noval (which, by the way, is this narrow cobblestone street that feels like stepping back in time), you get why this place has such a solid reputation. I mean, an 8.8 rating doesn’t happen by accident, especially in a city where tourists have endless options.

What really gets me about this place is how it strikes that perfect balance between feeling authentically Sevillian and actually being comfortable for modern travelers. The building itself has that gorgeous Andalusian architecture you’d expect in the old town – think traditional tiles, wrought iron details, maybe a courtyard that makes you want to linger with a coffee. But here’s the thing that surprised me: they’ve managed to keep all that character while making sure everything actually works. You know how some historic hotels look amazing but the WiFi is terrible and the air conditioning sounds like a freight train? Not here. They’ve figured out how to blend old-world charm with the stuff you actually need when you’re trying to enjoy your vacation.

The location is honestly fantastic – you’re right in the heart of everything that matters in Seville’s old quarter, but tucked away enough that you’re not dealing with the constant street noise that can drive you crazy in some parts of the historic center. I could walk to the Cathedral in maybe five minutes, and the Alcázar is practically around the corner. But here’s some local knowledge for you: this particular street connects you to some of the best tapas spots that aren’t completely overrun with tour groups. There’s this tiny bar about two blocks away where locals actually drink, and you’d never find it unless you were staying somewhere like this. The staff seemed to genuinely know the neighborhood too – not just the obvious tourist stuff, but where to get great bread in the morning or which plaza has the best atmosphere for an evening drink.

I’ll be honest, parking in this part of Seville is basically impossible (welcome to European old towns), but they helped sort that out without making it feel like a huge hassle. Check-in was smooth, no weird surprises with the room, and the whole experience just felt… well, like staying with someone who actually cares about whether you have a good time. Sometimes these 4-star places can feel a bit generic, but this one has personality. It’s the kind of place where you end up chatting with other guests over breakfast because everyone seems genuinely happy to be there rather than just checking boxes on their Seville itinerary.

  La casa está totalmente nueva, al lado de la catedral y el Alcázar y a un radio de unos 15 minutos andando, como mucho, de absolutamente todo! Se entra por código, que es súper cómodo, y nos dejaron un montón de cosas para poder vivir los días que estuvimos sin necesidad de comprar, como azúcar, sal, aceite, galletitas de chocolate y de todo lo que se necesita para lavar y completamente nuevo. La cocina tiene de todo, menos horno, con los utensilios necesarios para cocinar. Además, tiene una terraza maravillosa, que nosotras no pudimos aprovechar porque hacía mucho calor, pero que en otra época del año hubiera estado genial!!! Y tuvieron también el detalle de mandarnos recomendaciones de que hacer y donde comer en Sevilla muy completas, que también agradecimos!
  
  What could be improved: Lo que yo no sabía, no sé si porque no lo leí muy bien o porque no está bien explicado, es que son tres habitaciones, cada una en un piso. En el bajo solo hay habitación, en el primer piso habitación y salón y en el segundo piso, habitación y cocina. Cada habitación con un cuarto de baño propio. Esto da mucha independencia a las habitaciones, pero hay que tener en cuenta que para todo hay que andar subiendo y bajando escaleras, que no todo el mundo puede o quiere hacerlo.
