Hotel Description

You know what caught me off guard about Eva Recommends Lineros? Walking down this narrow cobblestone street in Seville’s old quarter, you’d almost miss it if you weren’t looking – it’s tucked into the kind of spot that feels like a local secret, even though it’s right in the thick of things. I mean, Calle Lineros is literally a stone’s throw from the cathedral (you can actually hear the bells if you’re a light sleeper), but somehow it doesn’t feel touristy in that overwhelming way some Seville hotels do.

The building itself has that authentic Andalusian charm – thick walls that actually keep the summer heat out, which honestly is a godsend if you’re visiting between June and September. What I really appreciated was how they’ve managed to modernize without losing the character. The common areas have these beautiful original tiles, and there’s this quiet courtyard where you can escape when the streets get crazy during Semana Santa or the April Fair. The staff genuinely knows their stuff about the neighborhood too – they pointed me toward this tiny tapas place on Calle Mateos Gago that I never would’ve found otherwise, and it ended up being one of those perfect Seville moments with jamón ibérico and local wine while watching people wander toward the Giralda.

Here’s the thing about staying in the old town – you’re walking everywhere, which is exactly what you want. The Alcázar is maybe a seven-minute stroll, the cathedral even closer, and if you want to venture across the river to Triana (which you absolutely should for the ceramics shops and that sunset view), it’s an easy walk over the Isabel II bridge. Parking is… well, it’s Seville’s old town, so forget about driving here. But honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t need a car anyway. The rooms are comfortable without being fancy – good beds, decent bathrooms, air conditioning that works (crucial in summer), and windows that open onto either the street or interior courtyard. I’d go for the courtyard if you’re sensitive to noise, though the street-side rooms give you more of that authentic Seville atmosphere with people chatting and the occasional flamenco guitar drifting up from the bars below. It’s not luxury, but it’s solid and well-located, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need when you’re more interested in exploring the city than hanging around your hotel room.

    Location. Soundproofing. Aircon

    What could be improved: Nothing

  • John from Ireland – 19 February 2024 (9/10)

Central location….everything was in walking distance.
Apartment was very clean and facilities were great

  • Thomas from Germany – 19 August 2023 (9/10)

Very clean, modern design, good furnishing, central location, nice rooftop terrace, very good noise isolation, very convinient check in and out, helpful staff

What could be improved: Plastic flowers and grass, weak ac, some chlorine stench, minor damage

  • Shelby from United States – 11 May 2023 (9/10)

it’s a lovely little flat right in the old town and within easy walking distance to just about everything.

  • Petre from Romania – 29 March 2023 (9/10)

    Very good location. Very comfortable

What could be improved: We arrived at 22hrs and had to enter the location by ourselves. The info how to open the door was scarce for us because we didn’t know how a key lock works (never seen before). We stayed in front of the door and called the host but didn’t answer, called booking.com many times- no good. We want to the next hotel H10 across the street and the receptionist came to show us how the locker works. We were just exhausted at 2 am

  • Leena from Finland – 25 March 2023 (9/10)

The apartement was nice and clean. Location was very good near the cathedral and restaurants and cafes.

What could be improved: Quite narrow staircase if you have a big suitcase

  • Natalie from Mexico – 27 February 2023 (9/10)

Really good location, even though it’s in a popular street, the windows have double glass so they block the noise a lot. The apartment has all you need.

What could be improved: My only complaint is that the location sent didn’t match perfectly the place, so we where wondering around trying to find the place. They just need to send an updated location of better explanation so people don’t get lost.

  • Tom from United Kingdom – 18 February 2023 (9/10)

What could be improved: The email was sent to us telling us the codes to get in but we had left and we were unable to access our emails, a phone number was given to us to see if we could get into the apartment earlier but it was not working. We suggest that once the passport details have been given to you then the code is sent . It was fortunate that a lady who had access came by and helped us.

  • Seo from United States – 24 August 2022 (9/10)

location, carrefour express next door, terrace rooftop

What could be improved: a little loud due to outside being in city center
