You know what struck me first about Eva Recommends Sentencia? The name itself – it’s tucked right on Calle Señor de la Sentencia, which honestly sounds way more intimidating than it actually is. I mean, “sentencia” means sentence or judgment, but this little street in Seville’s old town is anything but harsh. It’s actually one of those narrow cobblestone lanes where you can practically touch both buildings if you stretch your arms out, and the hotel sits there like it’s been part of the neighborhood forever.

The thing about staying here is that you’re really *in* Seville, not just visiting it. I remember stepping out in the morning and immediately smelling that mix of orange blossoms and coffee that seems to drift from every corner in the old town. You’re maybe a five-minute walk from the Cathedral – and I actually timed it because I’m obsessive like that – but far enough from the main tourist drag that you’re not dealing with crowds of people taking selfies right outside your window at 7 AM. The building itself has that typical Andalusian feel, you know, with the white walls and wrought iron details, but it’s been updated in a way that doesn’t feel like they’re trying too hard to be boutique-y.

What really won me over was how the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood. When I asked about dinner recommendations, they didn’t just hand me a generic list – they told me which tapas bars the locals hit up after 10 PM (because apparently eating before then marks you as a tourist), and they were spot-on. The rooms are comfortable without being fussy, and honestly, the AC works really well, which if you’ve been to Seville in summer, you know is not something to take for granted. One small thing – the street can get a bit echoey at night since it’s so narrow, but it’s not party-central noise, more like the occasional late-night conversation bouncing off the walls. Actually kind of charming once you get used to it. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me because it’s the kind of place that gets the important stuff right without trying to be something it’s not. You’re staying in a real part of the city, the service feels genuine, and when you walk out your door, you’re immediately part of Seville’s rhythm instead of observing it from some sanitized hotel bubble.

  A quiet and pleasant place in a good location.
  
  What could be improved: The wardrobe in the master bedroom is a bit old, but apart from that, everything else was perfect.

  We loved the interior of the apartment! Someone put a lot of effort in making it stand out from any other apartments we have seen! Very Bohemian, arty and eclectic just like the whole district:) Little balcony and rooftop was a great bonus. Kitchen very well equipped (frying pans need changing as they are badly scratched)
  
  What could be improved: Host wasn't communicative but I hope it was only down to Xmas time.
  Smell coming from the vents when we turned the heating was really bad.

  Eva provided excellent instructions on everything about the apartment and accessing the main door and apartment with a code and webapp was very easy and convenient! We really enjoyed our recent trip to Sevilla and our stay at Eva's Place! Eva was excellent at communication and provided us with countless recommendations around the neighbourhood and beyond, which was very helpful! Eva's place was in a great location, walkable to the main area of the city, but away enough that was quiet and we were living with the locals, a bonus for us. The beds were very comfortable and everything was spotless on arrival. We would definitely recommend Eva's place to any of our friends and family and will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sevilla!

  Location was great and within easy reach of shops, cafe's, bars and even a flee market.

  Fab apartment with plenty of space and cool decor! Eva was very helpful and provided some great recommendations. The airport transfers were a great bonus too!

  Eva Recommends Sentencia is a flat house in Seville, in Feria zone. A 2nd floor apartment with Design and Architectural look. The house has all the amenities needed for a good stay for a 4 person family. 2 bedrooms with very good beds and A/C (necessary extra in any accomodation in Seville). Every area was perfectly clean and all worked well. You stay in a more local area with all the locals, and not many tourists wandering everywhere.
  
  What could be improved: I found the check-in process a litlle bit impersonal, but that is how the renting business in AirBnB nowadays works. The house is on the 2nd floor without elevator, not so good for eldery people. No parking nearby so if you go by car, you should park in a public park (extra expense).
