Hotel Description
You know what really struck me about Eva Recommends Sierpes? It’s one of those places where the location is so perfect it almost feels too good to be true – but somehow it actually delivers. I mean, you’re literally on Calle Sierpes, which is basically Seville’s main pedestrian shopping street, and yet once you step inside, the noise just melts away. The building itself has this lovely old-world charm that makes you feel like you’re staying in someone’s elegant family home rather than a standard hotel.
The thing is, most people think staying right in the thick of things means dealing with chaos, but this place manages to give you the best of both worlds. You can walk out the door and be at the Cathedral in maybe five minutes (seriously, I timed it), and Plaza Nueva is right there too. What I really appreciated was how the staff – and you can tell they actually live in Seville – gave me these little insider tips that you’d never find in a guidebook. Like where to get the best churros at 7am when everywhere else is closed, or which tapas bars the locals actually go to versus the tourist traps.
The rooms themselves are honestly quite lovely, with this sort of contemporary Spanish style that doesn’t feel forced or themed. My room had these beautiful tile details and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious – you know how European hotels can be with tiny bathrooms, but this wasn’t one of those situations. The air conditioning actually worked well too, which if you’ve been to Seville in summer, you’ll understand why that’s worth mentioning. I stayed during a pretty busy week in spring and while you could hear some street activity during the day, it quieted down nicely in the evenings. The beds were comfortable enough that I actually slept in a few mornings, which rarely happens when I’m traveling.
What really sets this place apart though is that it feels like staying with people who genuinely care about Seville and want you to experience it properly. The whole “Eva Recommends” concept isn’t just marketing fluff – there are actually thoughtful recommendations throughout the hotel, and the concierge service felt more like getting advice from a knowledgeable friend than the usual generic tourist information. Plus, being on a pedestrian street means no worrying about taxi drop-offs or dragging luggage through traffic, though I should mention parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (there are garages nearby, but ask them for specifics when you book).
Honestly, for a four-star place with an 8.7 rating, it lived up to the hype without feeling pretentious about it. It’s the kind of spot where you end up extending your stay if you can, not because there’s anything wrong with leaving, but because you realize you’ve found one of those rare places that just gets it right.

The property was excellent and the host Eva was exceptional at all times. Eva gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and cafes.
Eva answered all queries in a prompt and efficient manner and was contactable at all times.
Furthermore, Eva accommodated us with leaving our luggage in the apartment for a couple of hours after the official checkout which was extremely helpful as our flight wasn't until later in the day.

It was a very large and clean apartment in an excellent location. Eva was an excellent host who was able to answer all our queries and organised a superb night for us at the Flamenco. The area was safe with some excellent restaurants and Tapas bars nearby.
