Look, I’ll be honest – when I first heard the name “Family HOME SUITS Encantos de Sevilla,” I was expecting something pretty generic. But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away on Alonso Carrillo, which is this quiet residential street in Nervión that most tourists never find (and honestly, that’s part of its charm). You know how some hotels feel like they’re trying too hard to be something they’re not? This one just… gets it right.

The thing about staying in Nervión is that you’re living like an actual Sevillano – there’s this great little mercado about three blocks down where locals do their shopping, and you’ll hear the clatter of coffee cups from the neighborhood bars drifting up in the mornings. The suites themselves feel properly lived-in, not in a worn-out way, but like someone’s stylish aunt decorated them with actual care. I mean, there are proper kitchenettes with decent-sized fridges (not those sad mini-bar things), and the living areas have enough space that you’re not tripping over your suitcase every five minutes. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the building too – I was video calling from the bedroom without any of those annoying drops you get in some places.

What really sold me on this place was the little details that show someone’s paying attention. The check-in was refreshingly straightforward, no hovering around a tiny desk in some cramped lobby. And here’s something you don’t often hear about – the soundproofing is actually decent. Nervión can get a bit lively during football season (Real Betis fans, you know how it is), but inside you’re mostly insulated from the street noise. The tram line that runs toward the center is maybe a seven-minute walk, which beats the chaos of trying to park anywhere near the cathedral district. I stayed during Easter week – probably not my smartest planning – and while the city center was absolutely mobbed, coming back to this neighborhood felt like stepping into a different, calmer Seville. The rating of 8.7 makes total sense to me; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything works the way it should, and there’s something refreshing about that kind of reliability when you’re dealing with the beautiful chaos that is this city.

  These apartments were absolutely amazing — we feel so lucky to have found and booked them! We usually look for places with parking, and this one had exactly that. The parking space isn’t very big, so larger vehicles might have trouble fitting, but fortunately our cars were compact and fit perfectly. It was such a relief and incredibly convenient — especially since the parking was included in the price of the apartment.
  
  The location was great, too. We were able to walk around the area easily, and for longer distances, Uber was always available. The apartment itself was just beautiful — very clean, bright, and comfortable. We had a wonderful weekend here.
  
  I’m also very grateful to the friendly host who welcomed us personally. All in all, these were truly excellent apartments — simply outstanding!

  The property is newly renovated and all the furniture seems to be new. The apartment was very clean and rooms were spacious. We were a group of 3 but this apartment could comfortably host up to 6 people.
  
  What could be improved: We had to wait a little for the host to arrive for check in, however he was very kind and provided us with a map and suggestions on where to visit.
  The walk to the city can be a little bit far but we didn’t really mind.

  What could be improved: Parking was not available. The agency offered to cover costs of underground public parking as an alternative. Finding such a parking was not that convenient so we ended up driving around the block a few times to find a spot on the street.

  The apartment is super clean, well prepare with basic and main utility and interior is new and comfortable. The host also friendly and very responsive.

  The communication from the team before and during the stay was great. Someone met us at the property to give us the keys and showed us how everything worked. We were also able to drop our luggage at the office on our check out day (a short 15 min walk from the apartment) this was offered free of charge as a guest, and was convenient so we could make the most of our final day. The apartment is located in a quiet street, and has shutters which keeps the early sun light out. There is a supermarket across the main road to be able to get basic supplies (coffee/milk etc.) The apartment is clean and modern, it is very new and the rooms are good sizes including the bathroom. some good restaurants and cafes for breakfast and dinner near by.
  
  What could be improved: Unfortunately there was a water leak coming from the apartment above. It was spotted by the lady that met us to give us the keys on arrival and arranged for a plumber to visit the apartment above the following day. Unfortunately it wasn't fixed during our stay so we did have to mop up water several times a day. But this was not the fault of the host. We at least had mop and bucket/cloths to be able to do this.
  In terms of location the apartment is about a 30 min walk to the Cathedral/Parks. A little further than we would have liked in hindsight, but we were able to find different routes and some nice restaurants near by for breakfast and dinner.
