You know what’s funny about Sevilla? Everyone thinks they need to stay right on the cathedral square to be in the thick of things, but honestly, that’s tourist trap territory. This place on Calle Santa Clara is where you actually want to be – it’s properly in the old town, but tucked away from the tour groups and overpriced tapas joints that plague the main drags.

I mean, the address says it all: bajo B means you’re on the ground floor, which is perfect because you won’t be hauling luggage up some impossibly narrow staircase (trust me, I’ve made that mistake in Sevilla before). The street itself is one of those lovely residential spots where actual sevillanos live – you’ll hear kids playing football in the evening and smell someone’s grandmother making gazpacho, not the constant chatter of guidebook-wielding crowds. It’s maybe a seven-minute walk to the cathedral if you’re dawdling, but you’re also super close to the Alameda de Hércules, which is honestly where the city’s real nightlife happens. The locals hit up the bars there, especially on weekends.

What really got me about this apartment is how it manages to feel authentically Andalusian without being some weird museumpiece. The building has that classic Sevillan architecture – you know, the kind with thick walls that actually keep the place cool during those brutal summer afternoons when it’s 40 degrees outside. And speaking of summer, the location is brilliant because you’re close enough to everything but not on one of those streets where tour buses rumble past at 7 AM. Parking is… well, it’s Sevilla, so forget about driving honestly, but the Puerta de Jerez metro stop isn’t far if you need to get to the airport.

The 9.7 rating makes total sense once you’re there – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything just works. The kind of place where the WiFi is actually fast, the shower has proper pressure, and someone clearly thought about details like having enough outlets near the bed. I stayed during Easter week (yeah, I know, rookie mistake with the crowds), but even then it felt like a proper refuge. You could step outside and be in the middle of the processions and chaos, then come back to this quiet little corner and decompress.

The neighborhood really comes alive in the evenings – there’s a fantastic little bar called El Rinconcillo just around the corner that’s supposedly the oldest tapas bar in Sevilla, though every bar claims that. Still, their spinach with chickpeas is incredible, and it’s the kind of place where you’ll end up chatting with locals if you speak even terrible Spanish like I do. During the day, you’re a stone’s throw from the Museo de Bellas Artes, which honestly has better paintings than the more famous spots but somehow half the crowds.

  Juan and his wife have a lovely extremely clean and comfortable apartment. The location is in a delightful neighborhood with a couple of excellent tapas bars. It is well located to easily walk to the Cathedral and Alcazar.

  This place is well located, spacious and immaculate, with tasteful furnishing. The host, Juan is very proactive and kind, ensuring that we can have a comfortable stay. He provided all necessary amenities including nice gestues of muffins, snacks and milk. We had a most pleasant, 6-star experience here. Strongly recommended.

  Good location which is in the city center and has some high-rated restaurants within 5 mins walking.
  The host is so kind and friendly! I wanted to wash my clothes and they drove all the way to give me the key to the balcony upstairs to dry my clothes.
  You can tell the apartment is well-decorated from the little details. They also prepared some snacks, water, and a box of milk for us which is thoughtful. The kitchen has a coffee machine as well.
  My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and the Spanish hospitality. Thank you for this amazing experience.

  The location is in the old centre and from here you can go to all important sightseeing by foot. Also is very near from a street with a lot of terraces and restaurants with good food. If you need bus, the station is not far away (5 min).
  The location is nice with all you need and very clean. Also the owner was very nice and helpful.

  Very clean and well presented, the owner was very helpful and accommodating when our flight was late. Left us milk, coffee pods and tea bags as well as shampoo and shower gel. Good restaurants and bars locally.
