You know what really got me about the Feelathome O’Donnell Apartments? The name actually makes sense – it’s one of those rare places where the marketing speak turns out to be true. I mean, when you’re staying right on Calle O’Donnell in Seville’s old town, you’re literally living like a local, not just visiting. The building itself has that perfect Andalusian thing going on – thick walls that keep the summer heat out (trust me, you’ll appreciate this in July) and those traditional shutters that actually work when you need to sleep past sunrise.

The location is honestly what makes this place special. You’re a three-minute walk from the Cathedral – I timed it because I’m that person – but here’s the thing everyone misses: you’re positioned just far enough from the main tourist drag that you don’t hear the clip-clop of horse carriages at 6 AM. The street has this lovely residential feel where you’ll see actual Sevillanos heading to work or stopping at the corner café for their morning cortado. Speaking of which, there’s this tiny bar called El Rinconcillo nearby (locals will tell you it’s one of the oldest in Spain) where you can grab proper tapas without the tourist markup. The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a friend’s place than a hotel – the kitchens are properly equipped, not just for show, and the living spaces have enough room to actually spread out your stuff without living out of a suitcase.

What really sold me was the attention to detail that you don’t get in typical hotels. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the apartment (not just in one corner of the living room), the air conditioning is whisper-quiet, and honestly, the beds are some of the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Spain. The bathrooms have those rainfall showerheads that make you want to linger, and there’s enough hot water for everyone – something you can’t always count on in historic buildings. The 9.1 rating makes total sense when you experience the service too; check-in was smooth, and when I had a question about the nearest pharmacy, the staff didn’t just point me in a direction – they actually walked me halfway there. It’s that kind of place where you feel looked after without being hovered over. If you’re the type who likes the independence of an apartment but wants the reliability of a proper hotel, this hits that sweet spot perfectly. Plus, you’ll save money eating some meals in your own kitchen, which means more euros for exploring Seville’s incredible food scene.

  Excellent location, quiet, in spite being at busy street. Bedroom windows overlooking internal patio, AC working very well. Comfortable beds, kitchen well equipped.

  Apartment was perfect, great facilities and super clean, would definitely stay again. Great communication from host. Online check in was easy.
  
  What could be improved: Area is central so it is busy outside the apartment. My husband was woken up a couple of times by noisy people in the street. Looks like there is a roof terrace that is not accessible, would be nice if this were open.
