Honestly, when I first saw the name “Flamenca Triana” with that incredibly long description, I wasn’t sure what to expect – but this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked away on Calle Rosario Vega, which is one of those quiet residential streets in Triana that tourists usually walk right past without realizing they’re missing something good. The apartment sits in a local bajo (that’s ground floor for non-Spanish speakers), and I mean, you’re literally living like a Sevillano here, not just visiting.

The setup is pretty clever – two proper bedrooms plus two sofa beds, which sounds cramped on paper but actually works really well. The space feels bigger than you’d expect, probably because of those high ceilings that are standard in these old Triana buildings. What I loved most was having two full bathrooms, because let’s be real, when you’re traveling with family or friends, that second bathroom becomes pure gold. The wifi actually works (I know, shocking for Spain sometimes), and the kitchen is stocked well enough that you could make a proper breakfast instead of hunting for coffee at 7 AM. You know what really got me though? The windows. They face the street but it’s residential quiet – not like those places near the cathedral where you’re dealing with tour groups at sunrise.

Location-wise, this is where the place really shines, and I’m not just talking about the typical “great location” nonsense. You’re in actual Triana, the neighborhood that most tourists see from across the river but never really explore properly. There’s a little market about three blocks away where locals shop – completely different vibe from the touristy Mercado de Triana. And here’s something the guidebooks won’t tell you: you can walk to the Isabel II bridge in maybe eight minutes, but more importantly, you’re close enough to the action without being in the middle of the madness. During Semana Santa or Feria, you’ll actually appreciate being on this side of the river. The apartment has that lived-in feeling that makes you want to stay longer – I actually extended my booking by two nights because checking out felt weird, like leaving a friend’s place. Sure, it’s not fancy hotel service with someone making your bed every day, but that 8.7 rating makes sense when you realize you’re getting authentic Seville living at a price that won’t destroy your travel budget.

  The location was perfect. Right in the middle of everything. It is close to all the tourist attraction. You can walk everywhere if you don't have young children. I booked hop on hop off I cancelled it as it was not needed.
  
  Maria was extremely helpful. She suggested places to see how to get there, sent us bus time tables, and helped me order a birthday cake for my sister. It was her birthday the day after we checked in. I couldn't thank Maria enough.
  
  Check in was at 3pm but we arrived around 12 pm. The previous guest check out earlier and Maria made the accommodation available upon request.
  
  I must say the pictures does not do justice to the accommodation. Its very spacious and comfortable. Maria added extra beds but the children looooooved the sofa beds 😍🤣.

  Great location, comfortable beds, clean and spacious. Maria was very accommodating and allowed us to drop off our suitcases before check in, good communication.
  
  What could be improved: It would be helpful to have more kitchen utensils available (i.e. cutting board, bread knife) and essentials like oil and sugar.
  Room dividers do not provide much noise insulation.

  The host communicated well and recommended nice places to visit. When there was a problem with the internet, they made a plan to fix it as soon as possible. A lovely spacious open-plan kitchen and lounge.
  
  What could be improved: There is only a wardrobe in one of the rooms, but it is filled with duvets etc, so there is no space to unpack one's clothes. The bedside tables also don't have drawers, so storage space is very limited.
