You know what caught me off guard about this place? The garage. I mean, you don’t realize how much of a lifesaver that is until you’re circling Seville’s old town for the third time with your rental car, watching those impossibly narrow streets get more impossible by the minute. Flamencos Apartamento basically solves your biggest Seville headache before you even think about it – and honestly, that alone makes it worth considering.
The location is pretty stellar, actually. Calle Conde de Ibarra isn’t one of those tourist-trap streets, but you’re still right in the thick of things in Barrio de Santa Cruz. I could walk to the Cathedral in about eight minutes (I timed it), and you’re close enough to hear the occasional clip-clop of horse carriages without having them wake you up at dawn. The building itself has that typical Sevillan charm – you know, the kind with thick walls that keep things surprisingly cool even when it’s blazing outside. The apartment sleeps five comfortably, which is perfect if you’re traveling with family or a small group, and there’s something satisfying about having your own space to spread out after a long day of cathedral-hopping and tapas-crawling.
What I really appreciated were the little details that show someone actually thought about how people live, not just sleep. The kitchen is properly equipped – not just a mini-fridge and a prayer – so you can grab fresh ingredients from Mercado de la Encarnación and actually cook something decent. The air conditioning works well (crucial in summer, trust me), and the Wi-Fi is solid enough for video calls back home. Sure, it’s not the Ritz – you might hear your neighbors occasionally, and the shower pressure is decent but not spectacular – but it’s got that authentic neighborhood feel that you just can’t get in the big chain hotels. The 8.1 rating makes sense; it’s the kind of place that does the important stuff really well without trying to be fancy about it. Plus, having that garage means you can actually explore outside Seville without the anxiety of wondering where you’ll park when you get back. For a 4-star apartment in the heart of old Seville, it strikes that sweet spot between comfort and authenticity.

Excellent location. We walked almost everywhere. The apartment is large and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked. We felt very secure due to the multiple locked gates and doors.

Well situated right in the centre of Seville. Garage was excellent. Beds were comfortable and apartment very clean. Accessed by a lift.
What could be improved: Some areas really need updating now, such as the kitchen which looks tired with broken trims around worktops. Cooking equipment was a little lacking – eg no chopping board, and the sink plug was broken. The kettle wasn’t electric so took ages to boil on the hob. Flamencos Apartment was our home away for 4 amazing summer days.
The location of the apartment is excellent, walking distance to everything that Seville can offer.
The apartment is very spacious and tastefully decorated. The air con & undergound parking were a bonus.

What could be improved: This is just a suggestion & not something that I did not like.
A cold bottle of water in the fridge, some coffee or tea will be more than welcome for late arrivals.

The apartment has an old charm, a home away from home for a family. It has everything for a comfortable living. The location is excellent, walking distance to main attractions.
What could be improved: I hope the host gives a much better and clear instructions to a guest who drives a car to the place. For example, to tell the guest the pin for the box containing the door keys and garage keys. I was standing at the door and did not know what to do, while my car was blocking garage door (there was not place to park the car as the road so narrow). High chair and Cot all available and serviceable
Kitchen was just right, with a kettle you put on the stove, I thought this was brilliant (simply things) 🫖
Complete the paperwork that is left for you and leave in the apartment don’t binned like I did it causing problems. 😩
What could be improved: The property is a little tired and the dining room table is impracticable with a baby (None of these impacted our stay).
It’s a very busy street and the noise did hamper putting our daughter (10 months) to sleep (out of the control of the owner).
Although information flow was brilliant from the moment I booked, the only information in the apartment was “don’t leave AC on”. As much as this important for cost and the environment I have suggested they create a welcome pack, restaurants grocery etc.
After two adults showered the drains could cope with the water so I would say if 5 people stay stagger your showers.
If the 5 person stay be aware you sleep in the back of the lounge a very comfortable bed (tried it) but no privacy.

Great location. We were somehow 7 minutes from everything. Walking the streets near the apartment are highlights of our time in Seville. Car parking is under the building, easy to access.
What could be improved: The double bed makes a shrill metal squeaking noise when you turn or adjust your position. I moved the second and third night to the single day bed in the lounge, that was firm and comfortable but there is no extra sheets or blankets.
Washing machine was very hard to operate, it is so old the door latch doesn’t connect easily. Water leaked when I ran it, but from the pipe under the machine.
Owner said it was being replaced January 2024.
