You know what’s tricky about Seville? Finding a place that actually feels like you’re living in the city rather than just visiting it. Genteel Home Arfe Terrace gets this right in a way that honestly surprised me. It’s not your typical hotel setup – they’ve got different properties scattered around the old town, which sounds chaotic but actually works brilliantly because you end up staying right in the thick of things instead of some touristy bubble.
The locations are what really sold me on this place. I mean, you’re literally walking the same cobblestones locals use for their morning coffee runs, and the buildings have that weathered Andalusian charm that you can’t fake. The terrace spaces (hence the name) are where you’ll probably spend your evenings – there’s something about sipping wine while watching the old town wake up or wind down that just hits different. The 4-star rating feels about right; it’s polished without being stuffy, comfortable without trying too hard to impress. What I appreciated most was how quiet it gets at night, which is no small feat when you’re this central – apparently the thick walls of these old buildings actually have their perks.
Check-in was refreshingly straightforward, though I’d recommend confirming your exact location beforehand since the different properties thing can be confusing if you’re arriving late. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood inside and out, which comes in handy when you want recommendations that aren’t straight from a guidebook. They pointed me toward this tiny tapas place on Calle Rodrigo Caro that I never would’ve found otherwise. Honestly, staying here felt less like being a tourist and more like borrowing a friend’s place – you get the local rhythm without sacrificing comfort. The 8.7 rating makes sense when you consider that balance; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it nails what actually matters when you want to experience the city properly.

Really nice, well furnished flat, easily accessible, very good location. Lots of bars, restaurants, little delicatessen shops near by. We loved the roof terasse. The customer service was excellent. The team answered queries instantly and were very helpful.

The location was excellent. The property was clean and comfortable to relax. The staff were very helpful at check in and quick response. The website for facilities extra information was outstanding.

Fantastic location – super central. Only 2 mins walk to the Cathedral, surrounded by great places to eat and drink.
What could be improved: There was nothing we didn’t like.

The apartment is very nice – spacious, clean and comfortable The location is great. You can actually see the Cathedral from the terrace but at the same time the street is quite and you cannot hear the noise from the main street. The only issue is that this is a duplex (this might be a great advantage depending on whi you are traveling witj), which means there are actually 2 separate apartments (starecase is private). On the main floor there is 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, living room and separate kitchen. On the second floor there is 1 bedroom with one small bathroom and 2 teracces. It is great if you are traveling with teenagers, 2 couples, but if you are traveling with smaller kids each parent needs to sleep with 1 kid on different levels which might be incovenient.
What could be improved: There is no luggage storage. There is an extra service – your luggage can be picked up but the price is per item. If you are traveling with kids and have lots of bags this make it incovenient and expensive. The location was brilliant, so close to all the main sights. The roof terrace was brilliant and we had lots of space for the 3 of us.
What could be improved: We were given an apartment over 2 floors which was unexpected.
