You know what struck me first about Global Suites Sevilla? The building itself – it’s got this understated elegance that fits perfectly on Avenida de Menéndez Pelayo without trying too hard to impress. I mean, you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Cathedral, but somehow this street feels quieter than the touristy chaos around Plaza de Armas. The location is honestly brilliant because you can duck into the old town maze whenever you want, but when you need a break from all those narrow cobblestone streets (and trust me, your feet will), you’re on a proper avenue with actual sidewalks and breathing room.

The suites themselves are spacious – and I mean genuinely spacious, not that European “spacious” where you can barely open your suitcase. There’s something refreshing about having a proper living area where you can actually spread out after a day of wandering through the Real Alcázar or getting lost in Santa Cruz (which you will, everyone does). The staff seems to get that most guests are here to explore, so check-in is pretty smooth, and they’re good with recommendations that go beyond the obvious stuff. Actually, they pointed me toward this little tapas place on Calle Mateos Gago that I never would’ve found otherwise – sometimes it’s those casual suggestions that make a trip.

What really sells this place, though, is how it strikes that sweet spot between being in the thick of things and having somewhere peaceful to retreat. You’ll hear the city during the day – church bells, the clip-clop of horse carriages taking tourists around, maybe some flamenco drifting from a nearby tablao in the evenings – but it’s the good kind of urban soundtrack, not traffic or late-night party noise. The 8.8 rating makes sense because honestly, there’s not much to complain about here. Sure, parking can be a bit of a puzzle if you’re driving (but really, who drives in Sevilla’s old town?), and some of the older suites have that slightly quirky European plumbing thing going on, but these are minor details. The place delivers on what matters: comfort, location, and that feeling like you’re staying somewhere that actually belongs in the neighborhood rather than some generic hotel that could be anywhere. If you’re planning to visit during Semana Santa or the April Fair, book way ahead – this is exactly the kind of place that fills up fast when the city gets crazy, and for good reason.

  1) location – not too far off from the main attractions, mere short walk away from halal food store, Carrefour Express & a locker storage which is important if you arrived earlier than the allowable check-in time
  2) easy check-in process – you are given street code to enter the building from the street & also another code to enter your room
  3) basic amenities – fridge, stove, kettle, hair dryer, coffee pods (but without free capsules, your have to buy on your own)

  Near bus stops and great reataurants! Big clean studio-type apartment. Easy access check-in and check out.
  
  What could be improved: It was on the street level (main avenue) so we kept our curtains closed all the time for privacy. Acknowledging their good intentions, room perfume in main room and t/b though could be too overpowering for sensitive guests.
