Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to GoToSeville GERONA SUITES on Calle Gerona – the street’s pretty narrow and you might miss it if you’re not paying attention. But you know what? Sometimes the best places are tucked away like this, right in the heart of Seville’s old town where the real magic happens.

The thing about staying here is you’re literally surrounded by everything that makes Seville special, but without the tourist trap feeling. I mean, you can walk to the Cathedral in maybe eight minutes (I timed it), and the Alcázar is just as close, but at night when you’re coming back from dinner, the street actually gets quiet. That’s rare in this part of the city, trust me. The suites themselves are well… they’re proper suites, not just hotel rooms with a fancy name slapped on them. There’s actual space to spread out, which you’ll appreciate after spending days wandering around cobblestone streets. The kitchenette situation is pretty solid too – nothing fancy, but if you want to grab some jamón and cheese from the market on Calle Feria (about a ten-minute walk) and have a proper Spanish breakfast, you can actually do that.

What really sold me on this place, though, is how the staff actually knows the neighborhood. When I asked about flamenco shows, they didn’t just hand me a tourist brochure – they told me which nights La Carbonería gets too crowded and suggested this smaller place on Calle Betis instead. That’s the kind of insight you want when you’re trying to experience Seville like someone who lives here, not just passing through. The building itself has that authentic Andalusian feel without being all precious about it – you know, traditional tiles and ironwork, but modern enough that the air conditioning actually works (crucial in summer, believe me). Parking’s always a nightmare in this part of town, but they’ve got arrangements with a garage nearby if you’re driving. Honestly though, once you’re here, you won’t need a car – everything’s walkable, and the tram stop at Plaza Nueva is close enough if you want to venture further out. The 8.7 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it gets the important stuff right and puts you exactly where you want to be to really explore the city.

  Love the terrace, the layout and space.
  
  What could be improved: The couch cushions in the lounge room were prone to sliding out given it was a sofa lounge, which made it uncomfortable.
  Also, it would be really good if there was more than one power point in the kitchen.

  What could be improved: Overall, more attention should be given to cleaning and maintenance. It was very dusty in places and could do with a paint refresh. Whilst out of your control, there was evidence in the communal foyer of a resident's dog having urinated on the gravel stones and behind the front door (in the foyer). No umbrella or seat pads for the terrace, and could do with more crockery

  Everything is perfect in this place. We rented a 2 bedroom apartament with a private terrace. In addition to the apartment itself, which is very good and has included everything you need for a short period stay, the terrace is a plus that allowed us to enjoy a glass of wine whith the sunset as well as the view of the beautiful Sevilla “Cientro Histórico”. About the location: Sevilla historic center is a place that invites you to be explored, and the Gerona Apartments are strategicly located to allow you to move around the main attractions by walking. For example, to reach La Giralda and El Alcàzar is a pleasurable 10min walking. For those who are driving a car, there are many parking lots near the apartment: Parking Imagen and Escuela Pias specially, both are really close. Well, when in Sevilla we will definitely stay at Gerona Apartments again. Thanks for everything.

  The location was excellent and the apartment beds and furniture were very comfortable. Plenty hot water and showers were good. Very clean. The sun terrace was great.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment is tastefully decorated but it does need a bit of redecoration as there are a lot of scuff marks on walls and the shower needs to be resealed. I also thought for hygiene purposes the beds should have mattress protectors as there was staining on these mattresses. It would have been nice to have left some water in the fridge for our arrival .

  Host was really polite and attentive. It stood out. The flat was marvelous. So huge with a lovely rooftop terrace overlooking to Setas de Sevilla, a lovely sunset spot.

  The beds were very comfortable, nice view from the rooftop terras. Well equiped kitchen. The location was nice, a 15 min walk to the very centre of the city, this part of the city felt very authentic with lots of locals eating and drinking in bars. Nice place to stay.
  
  What could be improved: Nothing, we missed a coat rack near the door. That's all.

  Great location , close by to the main tourist attractions, the lovely restaurant is just in front of the house, beautiful apartment for the fit of 4 people , 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen , absolutely lovely terrace and super nice and friendly staff who were always there for us

  Nice bedrooms, beautiful roof terras, well equipped kitchen and spacious living room and located in the historic city center. Airco in all rooms. The host is super friendly and will support you with all your questions. A lot of bars and restaurants nearby.

  the location, the roof top terrace, facilities were excellent. The hosts were excellent and responded quickly to all queries. They also organised a taxi to the airport for us. Really helpful.
  the apartment is also in a very quite location – no street noise etc.
  Did not hear any neighbours either.
  
  What could be improved: Small point – Due to the high temperatures ( Aug ) some windows could do with blinds or curtains to provide shade from the heat.
