You know what struck me first about Gran Poder Sevilla? It’s tucked right on Jesús del Gran Poder street, and I mean *right* there – you’re basically living in the heart of old Seville’s most authentic neighborhood. This isn’t one of those sterile hotel zones where you feel disconnected from the city. When you step outside, you’re immediately surrounded by narrow cobblestone streets where actual sevillanos are buying bread and walking their dogs, not just tourists hunting for flamenco shows.

The hotel itself has this refreshing approach – it’s part of TheGoodTourist group, which honestly makes sense once you experience the place. They’ve managed to create something that feels boutique-y without being pretentious about it. The rooms are well-designed (I stayed in one facing the street, and yes, there’s some noise in the evenings, but it’s the good kind – people chatting, not traffic), and the staff actually knows the neighborhood. Like, when I asked about where to grab coffee that wasn’t a tourist trap, the guy at reception sent me to this tiny place two blocks away where I ended up going every morning. You’re a five-minute walk from the Basilica del Gran Poder – which, if you time it right during Semana Santa season, you’ll understand why this location is absolutely perfect. But even during regular months, you’re close enough to walk to the Cathedral and Alcázar without dealing with the chaos of staying right next to them.

What really sold me on this place, though, was how it manages to be comfortable without trying too hard. The 4-star rating feels accurate – it’s not luxury, but everything works well and feels thoughtfully done. The common areas have this lived-in quality that makes you want to hang out rather than just pass through. I spent way too much time in their lobby area just because it felt like a good place to plan the day or decompress after walking around the city for hours. The whole setup just makes sense for travelers who want to experience Seville properly – you’re staying in a real neighborhood, but you’ve got all the hotel amenities when you need them. Plus, that 8.7 rating isn’t inflated marketing nonsense; it reflects what you actually get, which is a solid, well-located place that understands what travelers actually want from a Seville experience.

    Good location with everything in easy walking distance. The apartment is quiet and comfortable and has everything you need.

    I had an amazing stay at this apartment! The location is perfect, just a short walk from the city center, making it easy to explore everything. The apartment itself was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made the whole experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.     What could be improved: It was a good size for me alone. And would be for two people too. But I think its small for 3 or 4 people. But if your plan is to explore sevilla all day long then this apartment is a great place to stay also with 3-4 people.

    Location.

    What could be improved: There is an incredibly bad smell coming from the bathroom, there were comments but I thought it was repaired. Under these circumstances, this place should not be offered for sale. Other than that, as everything should have been sufficient, there were no shortcomings.
