Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Seville, and Green-Apartments Mansión Blue Catedral honestly surprised me. The name’s a bit of a mouthful – I mean, what’s with the “Green” and “Blue” thing? – but don’t let that throw you off. This place sits right on Calle Fernández y González, which is basically prime real estate in the old town. You’re literally a two-minute stumble from the Cathedral (hence the name, I guess), and honestly, you can hear the bells if you’re a light sleeper. Some people might find that annoying, but I actually loved waking up to them.
The building itself has this whole mansion vibe going on – you know, high ceilings, those gorgeous Andalusian tiles, the works. What struck me first was how quiet it gets once you’re inside, even though you’re smack in the middle of everything. The apartments are surprisingly spacious, which is rare for the old town where most places are carved out of ancient buildings with walls thicker than your arm. Each unit feels more like staying at a friend’s well-appointed flat than a typical hotel room. The kitchenettes are actually functional too – I made coffee there every morning because, let’s be honest, Spanish hotel coffee can be hit or miss.
Here’s what nobody tells you about this area: Calle Fernández y González connects you to all the good stuff without putting you right on top of the tourist chaos. You’re close enough to walk to the Alcázar in five minutes, but far enough from the main drags that you’re not dealing with tour groups under your window at 7 AM. The street itself has this lovely neighborhood feel – there’s a little grocery store around the corner where the owner actually remembers you after a couple days, and some fantastic tapas spots that locals frequent. I spent way too much time at the place two doors down that does incredible jamón ibérico.
Parking’s going to be your biggest headache if you’re driving – this is medieval street territory, so forget about pulling up to the front door. But honestly, once you’re here, you won’t need a car anyway. The whole historic center is walkable, and there’s decent public transport if you want to venture out to places like Triana or the newer parts of the city.
What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail without all the fussy luxury hotel nonsense. The staff knows their stuff – they gave me restaurant recommendations that were spot-on and helped me figure out the best times to hit the major sites without the crowds. The 9.1 rating makes sense when you experience it; it’s one of those places that just works. Sure, you’re paying a bit more than some of the budget options scattered around the city, but you’re getting location, space, and that intangible feeling of actually living in Seville rather than just visiting it. If you want to feel like you’ve got a proper base in one of Spain’s most beautiful cities, this is your spot.

EVERYTHING!!! This apartment was well appointed, clean, immaculate, had everything we needed! It was a beautiful wonderful stay! And in the heart of Seville, within walking distance to every single attraction! We did not want to leave! The bed was comfortable and had all amenities you would need! It was safe and secure! It was perfect! Restaurants a minute walk! The bathroom was huge and well appointed! Washing machine and drying rack was such a convenience! If ever go to Seville again, this is where we will be staying! This location is in the heart of it all! We absolutely loved our stay everything was perfect!!!

Great location, close to many sites and super tapas bars etc. Clean apartment, plenty of towels and bedding. Double bed was really comfortable, couch bed was fine.

We really loved the location and the apartment facilities.
What could be improved: Its was not a problema for us, but if you have some locomotion difficulties , you should considering that the apartment does not have lifts and the access is through a tiny stair. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to book some accommodation when boarding our flight to Seville! We quickly selected Green Apartments and from the very moment we book we were so impressed! The location is perfect – close to the cathedral but down a quiet traditional street. The bedroom was huge and a very comfy bed! The decor has been done really well – lots of character and carefully chosen pieces. It was exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly to deal with! Will definitely book again!

The apartment was spacious and clean with a kitchen area equipped with all that was necessary for basic cooking. The bathroom was good and the bedroom was comfortable. It was a good location for exploring Seville on foot.
