Hotel Description
You know what surprised me most about Green Apartments Minarete del Salvador? It’s tucked right on Calle Córdoba, which sounds super central and potentially chaotic, but honestly – it’s this perfect little pocket of calm in Seville’s old town. I mean, you’re literally a three-minute walk from the Cathedral (I timed it), but the narrow street keeps most of the tour group noise at bay.
The apartments themselves have this lived-in elegance that’s hard to fake. I’m talking original tile work that’s actually been maintained, not just slapped with modern stuff that tries too hard. The ceilings are high enough that you don’t feel cramped, which is saying something for old town accommodations. And here’s the thing nobody mentions in most reviews – the kitchenettes are actually functional. Like, you can genuinely cook a meal here, not just reheat leftovers. I ended up buying fresh ingredients from the little market on Calle Feria (about a ten-minute walk) and making breakfast most mornings because, well, why not?
The location thing is tricky to explain without getting all guidebook-y about it, but basically you’re in the sweet spot where locals actually live and work. There’s a tiny bar around the corner – I think it’s called Bar Santos, though don’t quote me on that – where the coffee is ridiculously good and costs about half what you’d pay near the Giralda. The building itself sits in this maze of streets that somehow all lead somewhere important, but you’ll definitely get turned around your first day (everyone does). Pro tip: the street’s so narrow that taxis can’t really get down it, so pack light or be prepared for a short walk from wherever they drop you.
What really sold me was how the staff actually seemed to know the neighborhood. Not just the obvious tourist stuff, but like when I asked about laundromats, they knew exactly which one was cleanest and had English instructions. Small thing, but it matters when you’re there for more than a weekend. The 8.4 rating makes sense – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it nails what it’s going for. Clean, comfortable, genuinely helpful, and positioned so you can slip into actual Sevillano life pretty easily. I ended up extending my stay two extra nights, partly because I loved the apartment, but mostly because I wasn’t ready to leave that particular corner of the city. The whole area has this morning rhythm with locals heading to work and kids walking to school – you feel like you’re staying in a neighborhood, not just a tourist zone.

Justin from Belgium – 6 March 2024 (9/10)
Historic centre location meant we could walk everywhere, though it also meant there was some noise from the street. Not a problem for us though worth bearing in mind.
What could be improved: bathroom door and terrace door need fixing. some noise from streetJosé from United States – 3 November 2023 (8/10)
The location is fantastic by the way, near meeting point of our tour
What could be improved: It has many stairs.Maria from Ireland – 22 March 2024 (9/10)
I really liked how responsive the host was in replying by text to any queries, and for providing the information for the door access very clearly. They also were great in providing directions on where and how to store my luggage when I checked out of the apartment. Everything was great about this apartment, location etc.
What could be improved: I didn't realise how steep and how many stairs were involved with this property (3 staircases) when I booked it. We managed ok, but was difficult to bring luggage up and down the steep stairs. worked fine for us, but the stairs are very steep and I would not recommend this property to anyone who has a physical difficulty.Oscar from United Kingdom – 21 March 2024 (8/10)
Perfect Location with a great roof terrace!!
Field from United Kingdom – 12 October 2022 (8/10)
It was a great location to see all the main sights in Seville. However I gathered that we would be met at the apartment between 6 and 7 pm. There was no one there to greet us so we had to go to the local tourist board for help.
What could be improved: The kitchen could have had an oven and hob.Edith from Netherlands – 10 September 2022 (9/10)
location is perfect, apartment is spacious and the two bedrooms have their own bathroom. Nice views from the rooftop terrace (extraordinary with the bell tower right next to it) and a great place to end your day with a glass of wine or start your day with a cup of coffee.
Beds are good and also the bathrooms are fully equipped.
What could be improved: There were a few minor details like no light balls in two of the bed lamps and one of the bedroom window doors did not close properly. And be aware that there are four stairs in the house. For us not a problem but you need to climb at least two per day. We also missed some city information in the apartment, you can get them everywhere but a map of the city would have been nice.Arevik from Armenia – 28 July 2022 (7/10)
Location, the apartment was interesting.
What could be improved: The airconditioning system.Nataliya from Spain – 20 April 2025 (9/10)
the location is crazy, right ‘inside’ the church garden.
What could be improved: the stairs are tricky, not good if you stay there with little kidsShuoyuliu from Switzerland – 1 February 2025 (9/10)
The appartement is lovely, the location is perfect.
Robert from Poland – 5 August 2024 (9/10)
Magic place, magic location. Unique apartment on 3 levels. Superb views from roof.
What could be improved: Hard to get parking. Only one big in that area and better to book place on advance by phone.
