Hotel Description
You know what struck me first about the Guadalquivir Terrace Suite Apartments? Walking up to number 2 on Calle Guadalquivir, I actually had to double-check the address because the building has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “tourist hotel.” It’s tucked right into Seville’s old town fabric – I mean, you’re literally surrounded by the kind of narrow cobblestone streets where locals still hang laundry from wrought-iron balconies. The entrance feels more like stepping into a well-maintained residential building than a typical hotel, which honestly sets a nice tone right away.
The suites themselves are what really won me over, though. These aren’t your standard hotel rooms with that slightly sterile feel – they’re actual apartments with proper kitchens (thank god, because eating out every meal in Seville will destroy your budget) and living spaces that feel lived-in rather than staged. The terrace situation is legit too – not just some tiny balcony where you can barely fit a chair, but actual outdoor space where you can spread out with morning coffee or evening wine. From mine, I could see glimpses of the cathedral spires over the rooftops, though honestly the real charm was just watching the neighborhood come alive each morning. You’ll hear church bells pretty regularly (it’s Seville, after all), but they become part of the soundtrack rather than an annoyance.
Location-wise, this place hits that sweet spot that’s hard to find in European old towns. You’re close enough to walk to the cathedral and Alcázar in about ten minutes – I timed it – but far enough from the main tourist drags that you’re not dealing with constant crowds right outside your door. There’s a little grocery store maybe two blocks away on Calle Sierpes where locals shop, and honestly some of my best meals came from picking up jamón and cheese there rather than hitting the touristy restaurants. Parking is… well, it’s what you’d expect in old town Seville, which is to say complicated, but the staff actually knows the neighborhood well enough to give you real advice about where to find spots. The whole area gets pretty quiet after about 10 PM, which surprised me given how central it is – apparently most of the late-night action happens closer to the river or in Triana. With an 8.4 rating, you’re getting solid four-star quality without the corporate hotel feel, and after staying here, I totally get why people keep coming back to this particular spot rather than booking whatever’s cheapest on the booking sites.

Had a great time in Seville, very friendly locals and lovely city to explore. Food in every restaurant we tried was excellent. Apartment conveniently close to many tapas bars and to bus stops and river.
Clean and comfortable. Hosts very pleasant and communication with them was good.
What could be improved: A little noisy outside apartment late at night but not for long.Sündüs from Turkey – 5 February 2025 (8/10)
The place met all of our needs. The sheets and the entire apartment were spotless. The room was spacious and bright, just as shown in the photos. The location was within a 15-20 minute walk to the places we wanted to visit. We were able to find parking spaces on the street for our car. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We had a very comfortable sleep. Communication with the host was quick and easy. I f we evaluate it in terms of its price, it’s a very nice apartment.
We stayed for 4 days, and it was a wonderful experience.
What could be improved: Water is leaking from the shower onto the bathroom floor. The bed was a bit short, so if you're tall, your feet might stick out. The bed could have been more comfortable, but overall, the room offered good value for the price.Oreoluwa from Ireland – 27 December 2024 (9/10)
Central location, user friendly check in process, very very comfortable bed and sheets, great quality towels
Maria from Colombia – 12 November 2024 (9/10)
Good location near the Hercules square, comfortable bed, very clean and organised
What could be improved: It was a bit more far from other sightseeing places but to be honest we did not mind at all.Laurynas from United Kingdom – 6 November 2024 (8/10)
Modern, cosy, well-equipped apartment a short walk from the city centre. Toiletries were provided, there was a hairdryer, ironing board and iron, even coffee pods. The communication from the host was quick and helpful.
What could be improved: The only downside to the apartment is related to the bathroom: the glass shower partition needs sealing up because it is allowing water to run out; there is a strong drain smell as reported in other travelers' comments.Mariana from Canada – 21 October 2024 (9/10)
Very comfortable apartment, convenient and close to everything. really enjoyed our stay.
I found the little Spanish that I know was very helpful, although inadequate at times. Native speakers appreciate the effort and are more helpful.
What could be improved: Quite a strrong odor sometimes from the bathroom. Closing the door helped.Clare from France – 20 October 2024 (8/10)
Great location, clean nice modern decor. Comfy bed and sofa. Good shower. Basic kitchen.
What could be improved: Street level – so noise at night from cobbled street. Staff are attentive and helpful but when we left our Ipad charger and made a journey to come back for it, they no longer had the right one.Jackie from United Kingdom – 13 October 2024 (8/10)
Location – walking distance to most places we visited and great Bars/Restaurants near by
What could be improved: We didn't expect to be on the ground floor. The booking didn't state ground floor and the picture on the website gave the impression of full length windows and bright room, but as on ground floor we had to keep the shutters down for privacy.
It was also quite noisy – vehicles morning and evening and people at night going home from bars/restaurants.Mau from Mexico – 11 September 2024 (8/10)
Comfortable apartment, self check in and check out, needs more detailed instructions, a little far from downtown’s main area but definitely recommend it.
What could be improved: No drinking water supplied in a very hot weather city. A little far from main tourist areas but very walkableAngelica from France – 1 August 2024 (9/10)
Comfortable apartment walking distance (30 minutes) from the main sights in Sevilla. Spacious and with all the commodities.
What could be improved: We had a problem with the key when we arrived, but after a few minutes everything was sorted out.
