You know what struck me first about Guzman El Bueno Suites? The location is absolutely perfect – I mean, you’re literally on the edge of Seville’s old town, so you get all the historic charm without being stuck in the middle of tourist chaos. The building itself sits on this quiet street that somehow manages to feel authentically Sevillian, and honestly, I was surprised how peaceful it was at night considering you’re walking distance from basically everything that matters.

The suites themselves are really well done – they’ve got that modern comfort thing nailed down without trying too hard to be trendy. I stayed in one of the larger units and the kitchen setup was actually useful (not just for show like some places), which came in handy since there’s this fantastic little market just a few blocks away on Calle Feria where locals do their shopping. The air conditioning works properly too, which, let me tell you, is crucial during Seville summers when the temperature can hit 40°C and the city basically shuts down for siesta. What I really appreciated was how quiet the rooms were – you’d expect some street noise being so central, but they’ve clearly invested in proper windows and insulation.

Here’s the thing about the location that the hotel descriptions never really capture: you’re perfectly positioned between the cathedral area and the more residential Macarena neighborhood. Walk south for ten minutes and you’re at the Giralda, but walk north and you hit these amazing tapas bars that most tourists never find. The staff actually knows this stuff too – they gave me directions to this hole-in-the-wall place that serves the best montaditos I had in the entire city. Parking can be a bit tricky (it’s Spain, what do you expect?), but there’s a public garage about three blocks away, and honestly, once you’re settled in, you won’t want to drive anywhere anyway. The whole old town is walkable, and when your feet get tired, the tram stop is right there. I’d definitely stay here again – it’s got that sweet spot of being comfortable and well-located without feeling like you’re staying in some soulless business hotel.

No coffee/tea provided (this feedback has already been given to the property which they acknowledged & indicated they would take on board for future guests). During our stay there was noise late at night from one of the other apartments in the complex

  Great place; central and comfortable. No on-site Reception but the Management was flawless. The rooftop had wonderful views.

  The location was perfect right in the heart of old Seville, only a minutes walk to bars and restaurants. The apartment however is peaceful and there is no noise from the outside street.

  It was a great stay. Great location, close to everything, a few minutes to the most important monuments. The apartment looks like in the pictures, it is well equipped. The owner was very helpful, answered our questions very quick, helped to organize a taxi from and to the airport. I recommend.
