Look, I’ve stayed at plenty of places in Seville’s old town, and most of them feel like they’re either trying too hard to be boutique or they’re just converted buildings with zero personality. Harinas Central Apartments actually gets it right – and honestly, that surprised me a bit when I first walked up to the entrance on Calle Harinas. The street itself is one of those narrow cobblestone lanes that feels properly medieval, you know? Not the touristy fake-medieval you get in some parts of the city, but the real deal where locals still hang laundry from their balconies and you can hear actual conversations in Spanish echoing off the walls at night.

What really struck me about this place is how they’ve managed to keep the authentic Sevillian apartment feel while actually making everything work for travelers. I mean, the building is clearly old – you can tell from the thick walls and the way the floors have that slight unevenness that comes with centuries of settling – but the apartments themselves are surprisingly modern without being sterile. The kitchen in my unit was actually functional (I made coffee every morning, which is more than I can say for half the “kitchenettes” I’ve encountered), and the bathroom had decent water pressure, which… well, if you’ve spent time in historic Spanish buildings, you’ll appreciate that small miracle. The Wi-Fi was solid too, though I’ll admit I spent most of my time wandering around rather than being glued to my laptop.

Here’s the thing about the location that you won’t get from looking at a map – you’re genuinely in the heart of everything, but Calle Harinas isn’t one of those streets where drunk tourists stumble past your window at 3 AM singing football chants. It’s residential enough that you get some actual quiet time, but you’re literally a five-minute walk from the Cathedral and maybe seven minutes from those incredible tapas bars around Plaza del Salvador. I kept ending up at this little place called Bar Eslava (locals go there around 9 PM, not earlier), and it became my routine to grab something there and then wander back through the maze of streets to the apartment. The walk back was always different depending on how well I remembered the turns – these old town streets have a way of rearranging themselves when you’re not paying attention. Parking is basically impossible on the street itself, but there’s a public garage about three blocks away that’s not too expensive by Seville standards. Check-in was straightforward, though the key pickup is at a different location – they’ll send you clear instructions, but just factor in an extra 15 minutes when you arrive.

  Excellent location, close to everything. Easy communication with the staff. The apartment was cool given it was on the ground floor. It had air conditioning as well for the very hot days. Would recommend for 2 or 3 people. We liked the fact that it had a dishwasher and a washing machine as well as a coffee machine and a hot water boiler for tea.
  
  What could be improved: The apartment was a bit dim, not enough natural light. There was dust in the cupboard of the living room. And we had only 1 towel for 4 days. Would have been nice to have had a change or been left an extra towel. And a few more coffee capsules would have been nice. Only provided for 1 day.

  Great location in Seville.
  The roof terrace was great to sit and relax in the sun in between all the sightseeing. Photos attached of the view from the roof terrace.

  Location is perfect with all necessities near by. Accommodation is comfortable for 4 persons 2 double sized beds with a glorious mattress. Property is really nice and kept in a pristine condition.
  
  Dislike the fact the balcony doors are not sound proof and you can hear chatter from the streets if you are a light sleeper earplugs are a must.

  Great location, just a short stroll to the cathedral and Alcazar, and amidst shops and restaurants. Reasonable size for a family. Despite Semana Santa being on we found it quiet. Excellent communication from host.
