You know what struck me first about Hispalis Nervión? It’s actually got this quiet, residential feel that you don’t expect from a 4-star hotel in Seville. I mean, you’re on Calle Luis de Morales in the Nervión district, which honestly feels more like where locals live than where tourists usually end up – and that’s exactly why I liked it.

The thing about staying here is you’re sort of perfectly positioned without being in the thick of everything. Nervión has this authentic neighborhood vibe where you’ll find actual sevillanos grabbing coffee at the corner bars, not just tour groups. The hotel itself feels like someone put real thought into making it comfortable rather than just impressive. The lobby doesn’t try too hard, if you know what I mean, and the staff actually seems to remember your name after a day or two. I’ve stayed at flashier places in the city center that felt like conveyor belts, but this one – well, it just works better for actually living in Seville for a few days instead of just passing through.

What really sold me was how easy it made exploring the city feel. You’re close enough to walk to the major sites (though honestly, it’s a decent walk to the cathedral), but you can also hop on the metro at Nervión station – which is practically around the corner – and be anywhere in fifteen minutes. The neighborhood comes alive in the evenings when locals head out for tapas, and there’s this great little mercado nearby that most guidebooks completely miss. The rooms themselves are what you’d expect from a solid 4-star – nothing groundbreaking, but the beds are actually comfortable and the bathrooms work properly, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places get that wrong. The breakfast is pretty decent too, though it gets busy around 9 AM when the business travelers are rushing out. One small thing that bugged me – the wifi in some rooms can be spotty, but honestly, that might have been a blessing in disguise. The whole experience just felt more genuine than the tourist-focused places downtown, and at the end of long days wandering around Seville’s incredible (but exhausting) historic center, coming back to Nervión felt like returning to your temporary Spanish neighborhood rather than just another hotel room.

  The flat is comfortable with new furniture and very efficient check-in service.
  
  What could be improved: It is conveniently located near the shopping centre but 20 minute walk from the centre which was not a problem for me but might be an issue for some people.

  The apartment is nice and clean. A very good location, close to the subway.
  You ll find everything you need if you wanna cook.
  
  What could be improved: Not much. It is a little bit noisy as the building is not very well insonorised

  The location was nice, with a nearby metro and connections around the city. There was a bit of construction on the adjacent road (the road was closed, but I think this probably reduced the noise a bit) at that time. The apartment faces a school, so it can get quite noisy during school hours but I wasn't there around these times, so it wasn't an issue for me. It has a washing machine, which was also a major bonus.
  
  What could be improved: It didn't seem as if the apartment was cleaned very thoroughly before arrival (hairs throughout, dirt and crumbs over the floor). Also, the water for showering was a bit inconsistent – it was about 3 minutes of warm water before it turned ice cold for about 5 minutes, and then got a bit warm again.

  Appartamento silenzioso e spazioso. Dista 2 km dalla Cattedrale ma la metro e i bus sono proprio dietro l'angolo. A noi piace camminare e ci siamo mossi sempre a piedi: il viale Edoardo Dato è bellissimo da percorrere a piedi, pieno di locali e di verde
