You know what surprised me about Holi-Rent Martin Villa? I expected another generic apartment rental in Seville’s old town, but this place actually has some serious character. It’s tucked into this gorgeous old building on Martín Villa street – and I mean properly tucked in, sixth floor with views that’ll make you forget about the climb (though there is a lift, thank god). The location is honestly perfect if you want to be in the thick of things without dealing with the absolute chaos of the main tourist strips.
What really sold me on this place was how the owners clearly know their neighborhood. They’ve managed to snag this spot that’s literally a three-minute walk to the Cathedral – I timed it because I’m that person – but you’re on this quieter residential street where actual sevillanos live. You’ll hear morning conversations from the courtyard below instead of drunk tourists at 3 AM, which, honestly, makes all the difference when you’re trying to sleep. The apartment itself feels more like staying at a design-savvy friend’s place than a rental. Everything’s been thoughtfully updated but they kept the original tiles and those impossibly high ceilings that make even small spaces feel grand. The kitchen actually works (I made gazpacho, obviously), and there’s this little balcony where you can have your morning coffee while watching the neighborhood wake up.
Here’s the thing though – and this is important – parking around here is basically impossible, so if you’re driving, factor that in. But honestly, once you’re settled, you won’t need a car anyway. You’re within walking distance of everything that matters: the Real Alcázar is five minutes south, the shopping on Sierpes is right there, and if you want proper tapas, slip into any of the tiny bars on the side streets. I spent half my time just wandering the maze of alleys around here, stumbling onto hidden plazas and that one amazing little ceramic shop (I think it was on Vida?) that I never would’ve found otherwise. The whole setup just works – it’s got that sweet spot of feeling local while being completely comfortable for visitors who want their creature comforts. At an 8.4 rating, it’s clearly doing something right, and after staying there, I get it. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it nails what you actually want: a great location, a space that feels like home, and that insider feeling of staying somewhere the guidebooks haven’t completely discovered yet.

The location was great, the apartment itself was comfortable with a nice kitchen, plenty of wardrobe space and a clean bathroom. The communication was very fast and clear, even during the weekends.

It was small but really comfortable, had a nice kitchen and bathroom, it was really close to the historic town and the location was full with restaurants and stores so it was easy to get around and enjoy Sevilla.

What could be improved: – The key pick up and drop off location is a 20-minute walk from the property – maybe too far for some.
– There's quite an extensive sign-up procedure that requires you to fill in your info and pay a deposit via the holi-rent link a week before your stay. With all the stories of booking.com phishing/fake messages – the initial feeling is that it's a scam, but it's not – it's all safe.

The position of the flat is the main strength point, there was a self-check in which was easy
What could be improved: The size of the flat is ok for two people but it should provide at least kitchen towels & washing machine detergent. As someone has already mentioned the neighbours on the upper floor are particularly noisy during the night (from midnight until almost the morning) with crashing sounds and loud music. We could hear Some other tenants in the building complaining about it. Great location, excellent communication and caring instructions. Perfect for a tourist who is tired of staying in hotels and eating out. I stayed as if it was my own room. Kitchen was well equipped. Especially loved the closet which had mirror effect.
What could be improved: Could hear neighbours moving the furnitures during the day but really did not bother me.

Location was good near the Seville Cathedral and Metropol Parasol.
What could be improved: 1. Picking up keys from the lockbox which was placed on window security bars of a building located on the street without exact address was not easy.
2. BIG ROACHES!!!! On second night, I found two roaches the size of my thumb on kitchen counter and cabinet.
