Hotel Description

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first pulled up to Holi-Rent Salado – the name sounds a bit corporate, doesn’t it? But this place actually surprised me in the best way. It’s tucked right in Triana, which if you know Seville at all, you’ll understand why that’s such a win. I mean, you’re literally across the river from the main tourist crush, but you can still walk to everything that matters. The Isabel II bridge is maybe a five-minute stroll, and suddenly you’re in the thick of things near the cathedral and Alcázar.

The hotel itself has this sort of understated elegance – definitely feels like a solid 4-star without trying too hard to impress you with marble everything. What I really loved was how quiet it gets at night, even though you’re in the middle of a neighborhood that actually has life to it. During the day you’ll hear the occasional flamenco guitar drifting from one of the nearby bars (Triana’s kind of famous for that), but by 10 PM it’s surprisingly peaceful. The rooms are well thought out – good blackout curtains, which honestly saved my life during those brutal Andalusian summer mornings. Air conditioning actually works, too, which you can’t take for granted in some of these older Spanish buildings.

You know what really sold me on this place though? The staff actually knows the neighborhood. Not just the obvious tourist spots, but like – where to get the best jamón at 9 AM when everything else is closed, or which tapas bars the locals hit after work. The woman at reception pointed me toward this tiny ceramics shop three streets over that I never would’ve found otherwise. And parking – god, parking in Seville can be a nightmare, but they’ve got a system worked out. It’s not free, but it’s reasonable and you don’t have to circle the block for twenty minutes looking for a spot. The 8.3 rating makes total sense to me; it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in town, but everything just… works. Check-in was smooth, the WiFi didn’t cut out every five minutes, and the shower had proper water pressure. Sometimes that’s all you need, right? Plus, being in Triana means you get to experience a bit of authentic Seville life without feeling like you’re staying in a tourist bubble. I’d definitely come back – especially during spring when you can actually walk around without melting into the pavement.

    The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Nothing fancy, but it did the job well. A good base for exploring the area – we’d stay again.

    It was comfortable, clean and really good location. We were able to enter the accommodation before the scheduled time and that meant a lot to us because we arrived early in the morning.

    What could be improved: It was the first time that we needed to take out our trash from the apartment. Normally it's do stuff but we received a message about cleaning rules and we did that. It's strange but it's okay. Maybe it is common there.

    The deposit is also a new thing, a contract is signed with the accommodation owners (everything is electronic), the deposit is €100 and they return the money the same day we leave the accommodation.

    The apartment is very well equipped (coffee machine with coffee!) , the grocery shops, bars, fitness centers are near and it is also close to the tourist attractions.

    What could be improved: The apartment is on the ground floor, so it is not very sunny, and depending on weather can be even cold in the morning.

    The apartment has a good size, we stayed only in 2 but clearly 4 people can stay comfortably there. The kitchen is well equipped and everything was pristine clean when we arrived. The staff was easy to contact and always available. I recommend this place.

    What could be improved: The aircon is only in the living room and the bedrooms have only fans (Seville is very hot!).

    the apartment was very cozy, in a nice area a little outside the centro, but close enough. Has a lot of shops & restaurants in walking distance in a nice neighbourhood.

    The location is convenient, and the kitchen well-equipped. Beds are comfortable and there are enough bedsheets and towels in the wardrobe, which came convenient a I got an eye infection and had to change towels every day.

    What could be improved: I don't think that one capsule for the washing machine for a family staying for 7 nights is enough. I chose this accommodation because it had a washing machine, but I couldn't use it. Also, during our stay, it was only 4 degrees at night, so the apartment was really cold and humid. We asked if there's a possibility to get an electric heater as there's an AC only in the living room, and they respond that the blankets are warm enough. They charged (charged, not pre-authorized!) 100 EUR deposit. We left on Sunday morning, left the apartment tidy, and now, on Friday evening, I still don't have my money back, and nobody's communicating with me about it. Maybe it's a cultural thing, but I don't understand why I'm told to take the garbage out before leaving while I paid a cleaning fee.

    Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique, ils donnent tous les renseignements que vous désirez.
    L'emplacement est vraiment super, pas très loin de la station de métro, et à pied vraiment pas loin du supermarché et du centre de Seville, calme, avec bon voisinage.
    Les draps, les serviettes de toilette, tapis de douche et matelas vraiment propre.
    Les chaises étaient propres et les meubles chambres pas de poussière.

    What could be improved: La baignoire était bouchée à notre arrivée et sur tout le contours des portes de la baignoire beaucoup de saleté qui sortait en nettoyant.
    Donc obliger d'intervenir seuls acheter du déboucheur et les produits nécessaires à l'entretien pour une hygiène plus appropriée de la baignoire ainsi que des toilettes et lavabo.
    Le balais, le sceau ainsi que le frottoir très sales, nous avons été obligés de les nettoyer à la javel.
    La cuisine assez propre mais le four devrait être mieux nettoyer.
    Et l'armoire rien de ranger pour lequel j'ai pris la peine de ranger (plier) serviettes de toilette, draps, et housses de coussin.
    Le personnel est tellement gentil et non dérangeant quil n'est pas désagréable de leur rendre service en essayant de rendre le logement plus propre et ordonné.
