You know what struck me first about Homecenter FB? The name doesn’t really tell you anything – I mean, it sounds more like a furniture store than a place you’d want to stay in Seville’s old town. But honestly, that’s part of its charm. It’s tucked right there on Calle Zaragoza, which if you know Seville at all, puts you smack in the heart of everything without being on one of those tourist-packed streets where you can’t sleep because of the flamenco bars going until 3 AM.
The building itself has that worn-in feel that three-star places in historic Spanish cities do so well – it’s not trying to be fancy, but there’s something authentic about the thick walls and the way sounds from the street filter up through the windows. I actually appreciated that they haven’t over-renovated it, you know? The rooms are clean and comfortable (the beds are surprisingly good for a place at this price point), and the staff genuinely seems to care about making sure you’re sorted. Check-in was smooth – no standing around waiting while they fumble with computers or act like you’re interrupting their day. What really won me over was how they’d casually mention things like “oh, the best tapas place that tourists don’t know about is two streets over” or give you the real timing for when the Cathedral gets busy. That 9.7 rating makes total sense when you experience that kind of local knowledge firsthand.
The location is honestly perfect if you want to actually experience Seville rather than just see it. You’re close enough to walk to the Cathedral and Alcázar without breaking a sweat, but you’re also in an area where actual Sevillanos live and work. I’d wake up to the sound of delivery trucks and people heading to work – not unpleasant, just real city sounds that remind you you’re somewhere with actual life happening. The narrow streets mean it stays cooler during those brutal summer afternoons (and trust me, if you’re visiting June through August, you’ll appreciate any relief you can get). Parking is basically impossible right there, but that’s true for most of the old town – if you’re driving, there’s a decent public garage about a ten-minute walk away. Really though, once you’re there, you won’t need a car. Everything worth seeing is walkable, and the neighborhood has enough good bars and restaurants that you could easily spend entire evenings just wandering around within a few blocks. It’s the kind of place where you start to feel like a temporary local rather than just another tourist passing through – which, let’s be honest, is exactly what you want from a stay in a city like Seville.

It was an amazing stay in Sevilla! Apartment is very cozy, clean, quiet and beautiful with all the facilities. You can have a good sleep because it’s very quiet but located just in the centre. We were lucky to meet the hosts because they are truly amazing people, their hospitality is something special. ❤️ We are looking forward to come back!

Comfortable living space in a gorgeous building in a perfect location. Host was very accommodating and friendly.

The property was as it looks in the photos. Very clean, spacious & light. Bed was very comfy & the surrounding residents were quiet. Location was perfect – so close to all main attractions & local restaurants/bars. The host was very accommodating and attentive. Gave us lots of recommendations & contact was superb.

Location was great – good proximity to the old town, the bus station and a grocery store! Owners are helpful and the apartment has everything you need. The unit is architecturally interesting and has wonderful lighting.

El apartamento es una maravilla. No solo por la ubicación, cercana a todo, sino por la limpieza, el estilo y la decoración. Está totalmente equipado y no le falta un detalle. Además, el trato de Gabriela y Manuel es excelente. Son muy amables, cercanos y te ayudan en todo lo que necesitas. Sin duda, una elección 10.
