Look, when I first saw the name “HomeySeville-Amazing Views Cathedral Tomas de Ibarra – 8 pax, Parking Optional,” I honestly thought it sounded like someone threw a bunch of keywords together. But you know what? They weren’t kidding about those cathedral views. This place sits right on Calle Tomás de Ibarra in the heart of Seville’s old town, and when you wake up in the morning and pull back those curtains – I mean, the cathedral literally dominates your view. It’s one of those moments where you actually stop scrolling through your phone and just stare.

The apartment itself feels like someone’s actual home, which is refreshing after staying in so many cookie-cutter places. The living room has this worn leather couch that’s perfectly broken in, and there’s enough space for eight people without everyone stepping on each other – though honestly, I’d say six is more comfortable if you’re traveling with people you don’t know super well. The kitchen surprised me too; it’s got everything you need if you want to cook with some of that incredible produce from the Saturday market on Calle Feria (which is maybe a ten-minute walk, by the way). The bedrooms are simple but clean, and the air conditioning actually works, which – trust me – you’ll appreciate in July when Seville turns into a furnace.

What really won me over was the location. You’re deep enough in the old town that you feel like you’re living in actual Seville, not tourist Seville, but close enough to everything that matters. The cathedral bells wake you up around 8 AM, which sounds annoying but is actually kind of magical after the first day. You can walk to the Alcázar in maybe five minutes, and there’s this tiny tapas bar called El Rinconcillo just around the corner – it’s supposedly the oldest bar in Seville, and the jamón there is ridiculous. The parking situation is… well, it’s optional for a reason. The streets here are narrow and confusing, and honestly, you don’t need a car anyway. But if you’re driving, there’s a public garage about three blocks away that won’t completely destroy your budget. The whole area gets pretty quiet after midnight except for weekends, when you’ll hear people wandering back from the bars until around 2 AM – just typical Seville stuff, nothing too crazy. One small thing: the Wi-Fi can be spotty in the back bedroom, so if you’re working remotely, claim the front rooms early. But really, if you’re working while staying somewhere with views like this, you’re doing Seville wrong.

  Great spacious apartment.

  Minor things and which didn’t spoil the stay. We felt that the towels were of poor quality.
  
  The kettle leaked if water left in it and when pouring too, plus the one socket in the kitchen was coming away from wall so we felt too dangerous to use.

  Fantastic location – so central, close to the cathedral and the palace, as well as many cafes, bars and restaurants, yet we found it quiet, we weren’t disturbed by any noise.
  Check-in was smooth with a key store and we were able to drop our bags before check-in, which was helpful.
  The apartment is in an older building, on the 2nd floor, but it was great for us that there was a lift, also handy to get luggage up to the apartment. It is a small lift!
  The apartment has a very spacious living space, a decent size dining table (we didn’t use it), some good sofa seating, a kitchen that was well equipped for us to make drinks and store things in the fridge. There were plenty of cups, glasses, plates and cutlery; and we were happy to have a kettle. We didn’t attempt to cook a meal on the two ring hob.
  We enjoyed having three good size bedrooms. Two were en suite. The beds were comfortable. The bathrooms were decent: showers were ok, towels were just ok.
  The roof terrace upstairs has seats and a table: it was nice to sit up there and enjoy sunshine in February!
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing we disliked about this lovely property. I would recommend it and would stay there again.

  Exactly as described. Spacious and in the perfect location. Access was really easy, garage also booked and instruction to very clear for both getting into the flat and finding the garage. Host could not have been more helpful, they went out of their way to assist.

  Really good location and nice view. Big spacious apartment with nice living room and dining area. Fast self check-in. Had everything you need for a nice stay.

  A very large modern place .
