I was expecting just another vacation rental, but walking up to 3 Calle Conteros felt like stumbling into one of those hidden gems that locals actually want to keep secret. The building sits right in the heart of Seville’s old town – and I mean proper old town, not the touristy fringe areas where most places advertise themselves as “historic.”
The location is honestly ridiculous in the best way possible. You’re literally a two-minute walk from the Cathedral (hence the name, obviously), but here’s the thing most people don’t realize – being this close means you can actually beat the crowds in the morning and slip back for a siesta when the afternoon heat gets brutal. The narrow cobblestone streets around Conteros are the real deal, with that distinctive Seville smell of orange blossoms and old stone that you can’t get anywhere else. Sure, you’ll hear the occasional clip-clop of horse carriages and late-night revelers, but it’s not the kind of noise that keeps you up – more like the soundtrack of actually being in Spain, you know?
What really sold me on this place was how they’ve managed to keep the authentic feel while actually making it comfortable for modern travelers. The apartments themselves are spacious (rare for old town Seville, trust me), and whoever designed them gets that you want character without sacrificing things like decent water pressure and reliable wifi. I mean, the thick walls that keep these buildings cool in summer also make the internet spotty in some places, but honestly, that’s half the charm of staying somewhere with actual history. The 4-star rating feels right – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it’s definitely a step up from the basic Airbnbs flooding the market. That 8.5 rating makes sense too; it’s the kind of place where small details matter, like having a local contact who actually responds to messages and knows which nearby restaurants are worth your time versus the tourist traps.
The real win here is positioning – you’re close enough to walk to everything worth seeing (the Alcázar, Plaza de España, the Jewish Quarter), but you’re on a street that feels residential enough to give you breathing room from the constant stream of tour groups. Pro tip: the little plaza at the end of Conteros is perfect for morning coffee, and there’s a fantastic tapas place called Bar Eslava just around the corner that most guidebooks miss. Parking is tricky, like everywhere in old town, but there are a couple of public lots within walking distance if you’re driving. Check-in was surprisingly smooth – no hunting around for key lockboxes or dealing with absentee hosts. Just genuine local hospitality without the fuss.

Everything, decor, cleanliness, location, comfort and communication were all great. It was a pleasure to stay there. And the elevator opening in to your room was an added bonus, not having to climb steps to the 1st floor with cases. Even though you were close to the hustle and bustle of the city, the little street it was on was very quiet. In all a most enjoyable experience thank you

We had a great time in this beautiful apartment. The host was fabulous—attentive, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment itself was modern, gorgeous, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with amenities, and the bathroom was lovely and well-supplied. The location couldn’t be better—right next to the Cathedral, in the heart of Seville. Highly recommended!

This flat was so central and in the most beautiful part of the old town. Walk out and you are straight into the street, plazas, bars and restaurants. It looked bigger than the measurements . Oh and the roof top terrace is just beautiful. It was clean . One night we shared it with a couple of other girls and mostly we had it to ourselves. I loved that people would check it out and if it looked too busy they would leave us alone and the other way around round.
What could be improved: Nothing really. It was a little dark inside but that’s the style of the building. The walls are a little thin in the bedroom but I found a knock to the wall and the TV ( at 1pm) was turned down . This is ok and worked around . The location was superb, the flat was in very good condition and the roof-top terrace was a bonus. Having a washing machine was also very convenient.

Great location, a few steps from the cathedral but not on main thoroughfare which greatly reduces noise level. Shutters on balcony doors are great, very clean and secure.
