Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Hotel América Sevilla? It’s right there on Plaza del Duque de la Victoria, which honestly sounds way more intimidating than it actually is. I mean, you’re literally in the heart of old Seville – you can practically smell the orange blossoms from the cathedral gardens when the wind’s right. The building itself has that classic Andalusian thing going on, but they’ve done the interiors with this smart mix of traditional tiles and modern touches that doesn’t feel forced or touristy.

The location is actually pretty brilliant if you think about it. You’re close enough to walk to the cathedral and Alcázar (maybe ten minutes if you don’t get distracted by the narrow streets), but you’re not stuck in the absolute chaos of the main tourist drag. I stayed there during Easter week – probably not my smartest move timing-wise – and while you could hear the processions, it wasn’t like having a marching band outside your window all night. The staff really knows their stuff too; they’ll tell you which tapas bars the locals actually go to, not just the ones with English menus. There’s this little place around the corner on Calle Rioja they recommended that I never would’ve found otherwise.

What I really appreciated was the attention to details that matter when you’re actually living somewhere for a few days. The AC works properly (crucial in Seville summers, trust me), the WiFi doesn’t cut out every five minutes, and the beds are comfortable enough that you’re not calculating how many hours until checkout. The breakfast spread is solid – nothing fancy, but they do proper jamón ibérico and the coffee doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around since yesterday. Oh, and if you’re worried about parking like I was, there’s a garage nearby, though honestly you won’t need a car once you’re settled in. Everything worth seeing is either walkable or a quick metro ride away. The whole experience just feels… well, it feels like staying somewhere that actually gets what travelers need rather than what some marketing team thinks they want.

  The hotel is located in a very central part of Seville, within walking distance to the main tourist attractions. It is surrounded by many shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is very clean and serves a good buffet breakfast. I would definitely go back to this hotel again.

  When you walk in hotel, you understand they are good. Hotel was clean and room also was clean. Room was big enough and air conditioner very silent and effective. Location is perfect and parking is good. Addition, bed was so big and very comfortable.

  Location was perfect. Breakfast was average and good,. Room was spacious and clean.Receptionists were cooperative.We faced a problem when our check-out was at 6.00 am ,and asked the receptionist one day before to prepare our breakfast for takeaway since our train travel was a long one but unfortunately we discovered in th train the meal was inadequate and disappointing. Also some amenities were lacking no bottled water or facial tissues in the room. Finally only the receptionist was available all the time. Upon arrival we asked for help to transfer our luggage to the room but there were no personell to help us.
