Honestly, when I first walked up to ISG Apartments Catedral on Avenida de la Constitución, I wasn’t sure what to expect – the street can feel pretty touristy during the day with all the horse carriages clip-clopping past. But you know what? Once you’re inside, it’s actually a really solid choice, especially if you want to be right in the thick of Seville’s old town without paying cathedral-view hotel prices.

The thing that struck me most was how they’ve managed to create proper apartment-style spaces in what’s clearly a renovated historic building. I mean, you’re literally a two-minute walk from the cathedral’s main entrance (you’ll hear the bells, trust me), but the rooms feel surprisingly spacious and modern. The kitchenettes are legit useful too – not those tiny hotel fridges and single burner situations. I actually ended up cooking breakfast a couple times using stuff from the Mercadona around the corner on Calle Alemanes. The AC works well, which honestly matters more than you think when you’re dealing with Seville summers and those thick old walls that trap heat.

What I really appreciated was the street-level entrance situation – no hauling luggage up narrow medieval stairs like some places in Barrio Santa Cruz. Though I’ll be real with you, if you’re driving, parking is going to be your nemesis. The whole area is basically pedestrian-only during certain hours, so you’ll want to figure out the Paseo de Cristóbal Colón parking situation beforehand. The front desk folks were actually helpful about this stuff instead of just shrugging like I’ve experienced elsewhere. Location-wise, you’re going to end up walking past it constantly if you’re doing the typical Seville tourist circuit – it’s right on that main drag between the cathedral and the river, so you’ve got the Plaza de Armas bus station within walking distance (maybe 10 minutes), and all those tiny tapas bars tucked into the side streets. I found myself grabbing morning coffee at the little place on Calle Adriano pretty much every day. The 8.8 rating makes sense to me – it’s not trying to be fancy, but everything works like it should, the location is genuinely convenient without being overpriced, and you feel like you’re staying somewhere with character rather than some generic chain hotel. Perfect if you want a home base for exploring but don’t need someone making your bed every single day.

  The best aspects of this property are its location and the stunning view from the private terrace. The terrace is just spectacular! The apartment is just steps away from the cathedral, the Alcazar, and a short walk to the Plaza de España. The terrace looks out on to the cathedral and a museum. The view in every light is just breathtaking!
  The apartment itsself is neat and looks recently renovated. The host was very helpful before and during our stay. I also loved having access to the laundry facilities right on our floor.
  
  What could be improved: There are only three minuses to this apartment – one, there's no exhaust above the stove. Two, there's little to no storage space for clothes etc. Three – the bathroom door does not lock.

  Just returned from an amazing week – cannot fault the apartment, it was spacious, beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels, toiletries etc. and very clean and comfortable. The management company was amazing – any queries or problems were resolved immediately and their communication, speedy responses and helpfulness was welcomed.
  
  Access to the property was easy and the building was very quiet. Great views from the rooftop area which faces the cathedral – couldnt have wished for a better location!
  
  What could be improved: There was nothing to dislike!
  
  One recommendation would be better signage at the entrance to the property – we found it fairly easily but as no cars are allowed along the road we were dropped by the taxi at the side of the cathedral. It would be helpful if we had been told this – however for future visitors, the entrance to the building is at the tram stop 15, opposite the cathedral.

  Great location and it was clean.
  
  What could be improved: It was described as having a washing machine in the kitchen, however, it was actually out in the hall. There was no drying rack in the apartment and needed more hangers.
  
  Need instructions in English on how to use the dishwasher.
  
  There should be a better way of getting into the building. Had to call a certain number, however , it did not work with my eSIM which is data only. Had to try to get back in the evening before the front gate was locked.
  
  On entry into the building there was about 5-6 steps before getting to the elevator. If one has a lot of heavy luggage it makes it difficult on arrival. Not a good first impression.
