You know what struck me first about ISG Apartments Cuna? The building itself – it’s one of those gorgeous Sevillian structures that makes you slow down and actually look up from your phone. The entrance on Calle Cuna has this understated elegance that doesn’t scream “tourist hotel,” which I honestly appreciated. You’re literally in the heart of the old town here, and I mean *the* heart – Plaza del Salvador is maybe a two-minute walk, and you can practically smell the orange blossoms from the cathedral area.
The apartments themselves feel more like staying in a local’s place than a typical hotel room. The ceilings are high (thank god, because Seville summers are no joke), and there’s this nice mix of modern amenities without losing that traditional Andalusian character. I loved having actual counter space and a proper coffee setup – something you don’t realize you miss until you’re trying to balance your cortado on a tiny hotel nightstand. The bathrooms are surprisingly spacious too, which… well, if you’ve stayed in European old town hotels before, you know that’s not always a given. What really won me over was how quiet it gets at night. Calle Cuna can be lively during the day with locals heading to the shops and bars, but it settles down nicely in the evenings, unlike some of the more touristy streets closer to the cathedral where you get those late-night tapas crawl groups.
Honestly, the location is what makes this place special – you’re walking distance from everything that matters, but you’re not paying those premium cathedral-view prices. The staff clearly knows the neighborhood well; they pointed me toward this tiny taberna on Calle Águilas that I never would have found otherwise, and their restaurant recommendations were spot-on (avoid the touristy places on Sierpes, go where they tell you). I also appreciated that they didn’t oversell the place – it’s a solid 4-star experience, nothing flashy, but everything works the way it should. The 8.3 rating feels about right; it’s the kind of place where small details are handled well, from decent Wi-Fi to blackout curtains that actually block the Andalusian sun. If you’re the type who wants to experience Seville like you live there temporarily rather than just passing through, this works really well. Plus, parking in this part of town is basically impossible anyway, so being able to walk everywhere is actually a huge advantage, not just a nice-to-have.

The apartment was amazing, so well furnished, so modern, with everything we needed, and spotlessly clean. The location was perfect, within walking distance of of tourist attractions, shops, restaurants and bars etc. we also like the key pads to enter the property and our room, so no carrying keys around, brilliant idea

The best thing was the location – everywhere was walkable. The apartment was very clean and it had everything you need for a short visit. The owners were fantastic and in contact all the time.
What could be improved: The only issue was that there were no windows to the outside. There were windows that looked on to a corridor outside but then you couldnt leave the curtains open as people were always passing so not much light coming in to the rooms.
