Hotel Description
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much when I first walked up to Jimios city center – the entrance is sort of tucked away on this narrow cobblestone street in the heart of Seville’s old town, and you know how these historic conversions can be hit or miss. But stepping inside? Complete game changer. The place has this perfect balance of old Andalusian charm with actually functional modern touches, which is harder to pull off than you’d think.
What really gets me about this spot is the location – I mean, you’re literally steps away from the Cathedral and the Alcázar, but you’re on Calle Jimios, which most tourists never even notice. It’s one of those authentic neighborhood streets where locals still hang their laundry from the balconies and there’s this tiny tapas bar (La Esquinita) that doesn’t even have a proper sign. The hotel itself feels like it belongs there, if that makes sense. The rooms have these gorgeous tiled floors and high ceilings that keep things cool even in July – and trust me, Seville in summer is no joke. Actually, the air conditioning works beautifully, which honestly surprised me given how many historic buildings struggle with climate control.
The staff here really knows their stuff too. When I mentioned I wanted to catch flamenco but avoid the touristy spots, the front desk guy (Miguel, I think?) sent me to this incredible peña near Triana that I never would have found on my own. That’s the kind of local insight that makes a difference. Parking is… well, it’s the old town, so park at the Metropol Parasol garage and walk the five minutes – trying to navigate these medieval streets with a rental car is just asking for trouble. The rooms face the interior courtyard mostly, so it’s surprisingly quiet at night despite being surrounded by restaurants and bars. I actually loved falling asleep to the distant sound of conversations drifting up from the street below – very atmospheric without being disruptive. Check-in was smooth, they held our luggage when we arrived early, and the whole vibe just feels relaxed and welcoming. It’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it absolutely nails what it is: a really solid, well-run hotel in an unbeatable location that feels authentically Sevillano.

The location is fantastic. The apartment is not very spacious, but it's cleverly and tastefully designed, so it's OK if you plan to spend most of the day outside.
King size bed is comfortable, sofa bed so-so. The internet is very fast and reliable.
The 4 keys solution was not so complicated as some guest reported. The whole building looks nice and safe.
Both the young guy who gave us the keys and the lady that I called on the phone to solve the problem with the fuse box spoke perfect English, which is not so common in Andalusia.
What could be improved: It's located one floor above ground, and the stairs are one of the most unpleasant I've ever seen. I guess the apartment was a part of the bigger one sometime ago, so the stairs were added later to allow the access to the newly made unit. Anyway, it probably could be a problem for a weaker person with a huge luggage.
There are some surfaces that are not cleaned for years, but if you're not 1.90m or taller, you won't see them (top of the fridge, top of the bathroom cabinet etc.)
The frying pan didn't look safe for use.
The biggest problem was the noise coming from the surrounding apartments.
As soon as we arrived, someone was playing extreme loud music from the open window that is just a few meters from our bedroom window.
Closing the windows helps in most of such situations, but the walls are far from soundproof, so we had to listen to the lady that was yelling in Arabic (probably on the phone) for half an hour, and it sounded as she was in the kitchen with us. The next night someone was making the cheerful noise, with occasional door slamming, somewhere close to our bedroom (the other side of the wall probably) between midnight and 1am. Maybe we just had bad luck, as it was not repeating every single day. On the other hand, we were not in the apartment most of the time during the day, so maybe we missed more of such things.
But Seville is such a beautiful city, and our location was so good, that we opted to ignore those few negative things.Keven from Canada – 6 November 2024 (8/10)
Excellent place to stay!

Great central location, the flat itself was very quiet. Internal patios, no views, but perfect for a good night's sleep. Very secure – as a solo woman traveller I felt completely safe. Well-appointed, comfortable and clean. Great bars and restaurants nearby, and super-close to all the main sights.
What could be improved: Happy with everything. Lived up to my expectations, the photos are very accurate, and I would stay there again.Hood from United States – 11 July 2024 (9/10)
No breakfast but the location was excellent.

The location is superb, just a few minutes from the cathedral, but on a side street away from the crush. The apartment is in a courtyard (you need 4 keys to get in) where it appears everyone else is a resident of the city – the peace and quiet is great (if that's your thing). This apartment has everything you need (apart from a proper mug for tea) assuming you're not cooking every night! Good information supplied by the owners regarding the city – where to visit and eat etc. Superb value for money in an ideal location.

Top spot, just around the corner from Alcazar & the cathedral, surrounded by restaurants, bars and a super, very good amenities and scrupulously clean.
What could be improved: A little tight for a family of four but not a great problem.Ineta from Lithuania – 25 March 2024 (8/10)

Fantastic location, very front of Catedral de Sevilla. Perfect and kind services. Clean and good facilities.
The small shower booth was a bit disappointing, but it was a very satisfying accommodation.
I highly recommend this apartment if you have plan to visit Cevilla.
