You know what struck me first about this place? The name basically tells you everything – it’s literally next to Calle Betis and Plaza de Cuba, which honestly is about as prime as you can get in Triana. I mean, if you’ve spent any time in Seville, you know that stretch along the river is where everyone ends up for evening drinks and tapas.

The hotel itself sits on Fortaleza street, and while it’s got that solid 4-star feel, it doesn’t try too hard to be fancy. What I really appreciated was how you can step outside and you’re immediately in the thick of things – the Guadalquivir is right there, and those riverside bars along Betis are maybe a two-minute walk. Actually, that can be a double-edged sword because it does get pretty lively (read: noisy) on weekend nights, but honestly, if you’re staying in Triana, you probably want that energy anyway. The rooms facing away from the river action are quieter if that’s your thing.

What makes this spot special is the neighborhood itself – Triana has this authentic, lived-in feel that the touristy parts of Seville sometimes lack. You’ll hear actual Spanish conversations on the street, not just tour groups, and there’s this great ceramics workshop just around the corner that’s been there forever. The hotel staff seems to get that people stay here for the location, so they’re pretty helpful with restaurant recommendations that go beyond the obvious choices. I stayed during April (perfect timing, by the way – warm but not brutal yet), and the evening routine became this: quick shower, then down to the riverfront for drinks while watching the sunset hit the cathedral across the water. The Puente de Triana is right there too, so you can easily walk into the old city center, though honestly, some nights you won’t want to leave the neighborhood. There’s something about sitting at one of those riverside terraces with a beer and some jamón that just works. The 8.6 rating makes sense – it’s not going to blow your mind with luxury, but it nails the location and gives you exactly what you need to experience this part of Seville properly.

  Perfect location! 10 minutes on foot from the main city attractions! Very clean and comfortable!

  De locatie is top. 5 min vanaf het centrum over de brug lopen. Er was een lift aanwezig, was wel klein. De dame van het verhuur bedrijf gaf mij een goede ontvangst.

  – De kraan in de keuken zat los. De verhuurder heeft aangegeven dit te gaan maken.
  – In de badkamer was rioollucht.

  3 gece kaldığımız bu ev genel olarak rahat ve temizdi. Çarşıya yürüme mesafesinde ve yakın çevrede yeterince Market Restoran ve kafe vardı. Evde ihtiyaç olabilecek herşey vardı. Genel olarak memnun kaldığımız bir konaklama oldu.
  
  What could be improved: Evde WC ve lavabodan gelen bir lağım kokusu mevcuttu. Apartman sakinlerinin köpekleri sabaha kadar havladılar. Apartman genel olarak biraz gürültülüydü.
