Look, I’ve stayed in plenty of apartments in Seville, and La Luz de Triana honestly caught me off guard – in the best way possible. The moment you step into this three-bedroom place on López de Gomara, you get why it’s pulling a 9.2 rating. The space is just… bigger than you expect? I mean, most Seville apartments feel like they’re carved out of old buildings with awkward layouts, but this one actually makes sense. The bedrooms are properly sized (not those tiny European “bedrooms” that barely fit a double bed), and there’s this lovely living area where you can actually spread out after a long day of wandering around the cathedral and Alcázar.

What really gets me about this place is the location – you’re right in the heart of Triana, which honestly feels more authentic than staying in the touristy Santa Cruz area. You know that morning ritual where locals grab coffee and pastries? Well, you’ll be doing it at the same spots they do, not at some overpriced café targeting tourists. The Mercado de Triana is basically around the corner, and if you’ve never experienced a proper Spanish market in the morning – the smell of fresh jamón, the chatter of vendors, the way locals inspect their tomatoes like they’re choosing diamonds – you’re missing out. Plus, getting across the river to the main sights takes maybe ten minutes on foot, but you get to walk over the Puente de Isabel II, which never gets old, especially when the light hits the Giralda just right.

Actually, let me be real about a couple things – this is Triana, so it’s not library-quiet at night. You’ll hear people chatting on the street, maybe some flamenco drifting from the bars, but that’s part of why you came to Seville, right? The street life here is incredible, especially during the evening paseo when families come out and the whole neighborhood feels alive. The apartment itself is well-insulated though, so once you close the windows, you can sleep just fine. Oh, and parking – if you’re driving, there are spots nearby, but honestly, you won’t need a car once you’re here. Everything’s walkable, and the buses are solid if you want to venture further out. The whole setup just works, which is rarer than you’d think with vacation rentals. It’s one of those places where you find yourself lingering over morning coffee on the balcony, planning your day but not really wanting to leave yet.

  We arrived early and the host was able to meet with us and hand over the keys. The cleaning lady was still there and we were able to leave our luggage and came back when the unit was cleaned. The unit was renovated, excellent appliances, large bathroom with good shower. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.
  
  What could be improved: But the biggest issue was the SLOW WIFI. It was very slow when we first arrived and then it did NOT work at all the last 3 days. It was very frustrating because we had work to do and we had to leave the unit and to find service. We booked this unit for the kitchen and the selection of utensils to cook was VERY weak.

  What could be improved: Pocas, muy pocas, perchas para colgar la ropa que no se doblase. Por otro lado retiramos las camas para hacerlas y encontramos papepeles y otros restos de no haber limpiado a fondo.

  Tágas, világos, szellős, kiváló fekvés, tömegközlekedés minden irányban nagyon közel. Kiválóan felszerelt konyha, remek fürdőszoba, csendes, nyugodt környezetben. Kényelmes, tágas apartman. 5. emeleti, lift a házban.
  
  What could be improved: Fel kellett söpörni és mosni. Az ülőgarnitúra és rajta a párnák fontosak, hajasok, foltosak. Az ágyneműk gyűröttek mintha használak lennének, viszont tiszták.
