You know what caught me off guard about this place? The moment I stepped into this loft on Calle Rastro, I actually forgot I was staying in someone else’s space. The ceilings are proper high – I mean, you’re talking about that classic Sevillian architecture that makes you want to just lie on the floor and stare up for a while. And honestly, the “amplio” part of the name isn’t just marketing speak; this place genuinely feels spacious in a way that most city accommodations don’t. The owner clearly knows what travelers actually need because there are these thoughtful touches everywhere – good lighting where you need it, enough counter space in the kitchen to actually spread out your morning coffee ritual, and (this is huge) the parking situation is sorted. I can’t tell you how rare that is in this part of Seville, especially when you’re this close to the action.

The location is sort of perfect if you know how to work it. Calle Rastro puts you right in the thick of things without being on one of those tourist-trap streets where you can’t sleep because of late-night revelers. You’re walking distance to Santa Cruz – and I mean actually walking distance, not that “15-minute walk” that turns into 25 when you factor in getting lost in those twisty medieval streets. The neighborhood has this lived-in feel during the day; you’ll hear neighbors chatting from their windows, smell someone’s lunch cooking, see locals heading to the market with their little wheeled bags. But here’s the thing about staying in Nervión – you get this authentic slice of how Sevillanos actually live, while still being close enough to hit the Cathedral or the Alcázar when the mood strikes. The building itself has that slightly worn charm that old Spanish buildings do so well; the kind of place where the stairs creak just enough to remind you you’re somewhere with history, but everything works properly (the wifi, the shower pressure, the air conditioning that you’ll definitely need if you’re visiting between May and September).

What really sold me on recommending this place is how it strikes that balance between being a proper local experience and having everything you need as a traveler. The 8.6 rating makes sense when you spend time here – it’s not trying to be a luxury hotel, but it delivers on what it promises. The loft setup means you have space to actually unpack and settle in, which is something you don’t realize you miss until you have it again. And look, I’ll be honest – the area can get a bit lively on weekend nights, but that’s Seville for you. If you want complete silence, you probably shouldn’t be staying in the center of a Spanish city anyway. The parking inclusion is genuinely worth its weight in gold if you’re driving (and dealing with Seville’s traffic), plus the host seems to actually care about the place rather than just running it as a side hustle. It’s the kind of spot where you might find yourself staying an extra day just because you’re comfortable, which is really the best compliment you can give any accommodation.

  This is a very spacious apartment. There are 2 floors.

  The communication with the ALOJATEENSEVILLA was fantastic! I arrived at the beautiful loft hours before check in, however they took care of my luggage and got me in early.

  What could be improved: The guest probably wanted to automate the process, but there is too much communication and information about check-in.
  It would also be desirable for the door to have a handle on the inside, because it is very stressful if your key is left somewhere and you cannot open the door, especially if you only have one key.
  The space is large and spacious, but the rooms are without doors, so you can hear everything.
  And it would be good if there were pots for cooking.

  What could be improved: Converted office into an apartment. Kitchen in poor condition – metal slats falling off the furniture that could hurt children. A very small bathroom with an electric radiator with uninsulated wires sticking out of it.
