You know what struck me first about Life Apartments San Vicente? The building itself – it’s tucked right into this gorgeous old street where you can actually hear the clip-clop of horse carriages from the nearby Cathedral tours echoing off the narrow walls. I mean, you’re literally staying in Seville’s historic heart here, and the apartments somehow manage to feel both authentically Spanish and surprisingly modern. The entrance is pretty understated (honestly, I walked past it twice before spotting the small sign), but once you’re inside, the space opens up beautifully. These aren’t your typical cramped European apartments – the ceilings are high, the rooms actually breathe, and there’s this lovely mix of contemporary furniture against original architectural details that doesn’t feel forced or overdone.

What really sold me on this place was how it balances location with livability. Sure, you’re a three-minute walk from the Cathedral – and I actually timed it – but you’re also on a quieter stretch of San Vicente where you won’t have tour groups gathering under your window at 7 AM. The apartments come with proper kitchens (not just those sad little kitchenettes with a hot plate), which is perfect because the nearby Mercado del Arenal has incredible produce and you’ll want to cook with it. Storage space is generous too, something you don’t always get in historic buildings. I stayed during April when the weather was perfect for keeping windows open, and while you do get some street noise during the day, it’s that pleasant urban hum rather than anything jarring. The Wi-Fi actually works well throughout the space – tested it during a few video calls from different rooms without issues.

The staff really knows their stuff about the neighborhood, and not in that scripted way where they recommend the same tourist traps to everyone. When I asked about good tapas spots, they pointed me toward this tiny place on Calle Mateos Gago that locals actually frequent, not just the flashy spots with English menus. Check-in was smooth, though I’d recommend letting them know your arrival time since there isn’t always someone at the front desk – but they’re super responsive via WhatsApp. The building stays pretty quiet in the evenings, which surprised me given how central it is. You’re close enough to walk to Santa Cruz, Alameda, and even across to Triana without breaking a sweat, but far enough from the main tourist drag that you feel like you’re experiencing real Seville rather than just visiting it. Honestly, for the price point and that 8.7 rating, it delivers exactly what it promises – a genuine taste of living in one of Spain’s most beautiful cities.

  very good location, right in the opposite street of the museum of arts. You can basically walk to anywhere without having to take the bus. The apartment is clean and comfortable to stay.

  Easy key collection (no waiting), very good location, modern and practical furniture, good price/value.
  
  What could be improved: This flat has 3 floors, you can go up to the sun terrace, or you can go down 1 floor to the sleeping room. Also the kitchen has some floor, so you can prepare for lots of steps.
