Look, I’ve stayed in a lot of places in Sevilla, and this loft on Calle Jesús del Gran Poder really surprised me. When I first heard the address, I’ll be honest – I was a bit worried about the location since that street can get pretty lively during Semana Santa with all the processions. But actually, it turned out to be perfect timing for everything else.
The thing that immediately grabbed me was walking into this space and realizing it’s a proper loft, not just some cramped apartment they’re calling trendy. High ceilings, clean lines, and you know what really sold me? The parking situation actually works. I mean, finding free parking in Sevilla’s old town is basically like winning the lottery, but they’ve got it sorted. No circling blocks for twenty minutes or paying ridiculous fees at those tiny underground garages where you’re convinced your car won’t fit. The location puts you right in the thick of things – you’re maybe a ten-minute walk from the Cathedral, and honestly, you’ll probably stumble across three amazing tapas bars just getting there. I kept ending up at this little place around the corner that doesn’t even have a proper sign, just locals packed around barrels drinking manzanilla.
What I really appreciated was how the space feels like someone actually lives there, not like a sterile hotel room. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to grab groceries from the Mercado de la Encarnación (which, by the way, is close enough to walk to with your morning coffee). The bed’s comfortable – and I’m picky about mattresses – and the whole place stays surprisingly cool even during those brutal Andalusian afternoons. The neighborhood gets quiet at night too, which was unexpected given how central you are. Well, quiet except during feria season, but honestly, if you’re in Sevilla during feria and complaining about noise, you’re missing the point entirely. The WiFi actually works properly, which feels worth mentioning since I’ve been burned by that before in older buildings. And there’s something satisfying about the morning light coming through those big windows while you’re planning out whether to hit the Alcázar first or just wander through Santa Cruz until you get properly lost. The 9.3 rating makes sense once you’re there – it’s one of those places where all the little details just work without you having to think about them.

The loft is very clean, nice and cozy. We could find everything we need in the apartment. The host is very thoughtful. There is the welcome ice water in the refrigerator which is so great in the hot summer. I’d like to stay here again!

The location was perfect, and within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated, and we appreciated the coffee machine, pods provided, water in the fridge and comfortable furniture. Juan and Lola are fantastic hosts, and their recommendations on places to visit and restaurants were great.
What could be improved: We were a little bit confused on how to access the apartment. We knew that we would have to go to the apartment first to get the keys, to access the car park (which is 400 m away) and that we would not be able to park on the kerbside for longer than a few minutes. So, I swiped the lock on the App 10 minutes before arrival, thinking this would provide me with the access code. Instead, it opened the door. So, perhaps this could be better explained beforehand. Also, it could have been pointed out that the apartment is the first on the left as you enter the building on the ground floor. What was great though was that Juan and Lola were on hand to help and they quickly reset the code, and provided detailed instructions on how to get into the car park. They were very kind and patient. Really nice, that there was coffee and milk, and all the things that you could need for comfortable stay.

Conveniently located, nicely decorated and very clean flat. The owner Juan goes out of his way too please his guests with recommendations for nice restaurants, bars, sightseeing. Flat comes with a parking space in a nearby multi storey garage, which is very convenient.

So close to the city centre! We felt really comfortable, the hospitality of the accomodation provider was flawless. We had everything we needed, parking spot is a big plus in a car-crowded but beautiful Seville.
