You know what really struck me about Lola de Triana? It’s tucked away on Calle Alfarería in a way that feels completely authentic – like you stumbled onto something locals have been keeping to themselves. The street itself is this narrow, pottery-lined corridor (alfarería literally means pottery, which makes total sense once you’re wandering around), and honestly, I almost walked past the entrance twice before realizing this was actually a proper four-star place. The building has that weathered Sevillian charm where you can’t tell if it’s been recently restored or just naturally gorgeous.

The apartments themselves are surprisingly spacious – I mean, we’re talking about historic Triana here, so I wasn’t expecting American-sized rooms, but these actually feel livable rather than cramped. What I loved most was how they’ve managed to keep the traditional Andalusian tiles and exposed beams while sneaking in modern stuff like decent Wi-Fi and air conditioning that actually works (trust me, you’ll appreciate this in July). The kitchenettes are small but functional – perfect for storing jamón and cheese from the Mercado de Triana, which is basically a five-minute stroll away. Speaking of location, you’re right in the heart of the neighborhood where flamenco was born, and I swear you can hear guitar drifting from the bars most evenings. The Guadalquivir is literally a two-minute walk, so you can pop over to the cathedral side of Seville whenever you want, but honestly, Triana has enough character that you might find yourself staying put more than expected.

Here’s the thing though – parking is a bit of a nightmare around here (welcome to Seville), so if you’re driving, definitely coordinate with them ahead of time. The staff actually knows the neighborhood well enough to point you toward the less obvious parking spots that won’t cost you a fortune. Check-in was refreshingly straightforward – no pretentious lobby scene, just helpful people who seem to genuinely care whether you find the good tapas spots. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be a luxury resort, but it absolutely nails what it is: a comfortable, well-located base in one of Spain’s most authentic neighborhoods. You’ll fall asleep to the sound of late-night conversations echoing off the narrow streets, and honestly, that’s exactly what staying in Triana should feel like.

  The apartments are really nice. We were on the first floor and it was a bit humid. The lights are not so good. It’s always like dark even if the lights are on. But the bed is really comfortable and the amenities are good. Reaching the center from Triana is really fast and from there is also easy to go to the other side.

  Spacious apartment.Lovely decor. Excellent facilities especially the washing machine.
  
  What could be improved: I found the keypad tricky and missed having a receptionist on site. Help was accessible by phone.

  The location is great, super close to Sevilla old-town and different attractions. Also Triana is a very nice neighbour to visit and have a great time.
  
  What could be improved: I consider that the price is a bit high, considering the facilities, also the building doesn't have comfortable common spaces like living rooms, hall or desk for virtual working, is only the room, which is great.

  There was more than enough room for three of us. It was a very quiet area and the facilities were excellent.
  
  What could be improved: We could have done with an oven. We arrived quite late and bought a pizza from the local convenience shop but only had a microwave to heat it up. There was also a slight smell from the drain.

  The apartment was spotless and in a great location, near some lovely bars.

  The host was very responsive to any requests we had.
  The weather wasn’t great, it rained a lot while we were there which is unusual, but we still had a wonderful time in a beautiful city and would love to return.

  Very clean and very nice. The location is good and you can be in the center after a 20min walk.
  
  What could be improved: Not good soundproofing. You can hear all the noises from the other appartements. And people screaming in the hallway.

  Lovely quiet location. Beautiful modern apartment. Very comfy bed. Hot tub was a bonus. Very attentive, helpful staff who sorted out an issue with the hot tub quickly and booked us a transfer to the airport.
  
  What could be improved: Hot tub was cold when we arrived but this was addressed quickly.
