I’ll be honest – when I first walked up to the Luxe Town Hall on Plaza de San Francisco, I wasn’t expecting much from the outside. It’s this renovated historical building that sort of blends into the surrounding architecture, but once you step inside, you realize they’ve done something pretty special here. The lobby has this perfect balance of old Sevillian charm with modern touches that don’t feel forced or over-the-top. You know what I mean? Like they actually thought about how to honor the building’s history without making it feel like a museum you’re sleeping in.

The location is honestly what sold me on this place. You’re literally steps away from the cathedral – and I mean literally, you can see the Giralda tower from some of the upper floor windows. But here’s the thing most people don’t realize: being right in the old town means you’re walking on those beautiful cobblestones everywhere, which is romantic until you’re dragging a suitcase behind you. The hotel staff actually warned me about this during check-in (which was refreshingly quick, by the way) and offered to help with luggage. Smart move on their part. Plaza de San Francisco gets pretty lively in the evenings – there’s this constant buzz of locals and tourists mixing together, street performers doing their thing, and the occasional wedding party spilling out of the cathedral. If you’re a light sleeper, ask for a room facing away from the plaza, though honestly, I kind of loved falling asleep to the sound of the city winding down.

What really impressed me was how the hotel feels like it belongs in the neighborhood rather than just occupying space in it. The concierge – this older gentleman who’s clearly been in Seville forever – gave me directions to this tiny tapas place on Calle Álvarez Quintero that I never would have found otherwise. No tourists, just locals nursing their morning coffee and reading newspapers. That’s the kind of insider knowledge you get when you stay somewhere that’s actually connected to its community. The rooms themselves are well-appointed without being flashy, and the air conditioning works properly (crucial in summer, trust me). Parking is tricky in this part of town, but they have an arrangement with a garage about a five-minute walk away – not ideal, but honestly, you’ll barely use your car once you’re settled in the old town anyway. Everything worth seeing is within walking distance, and the narrow streets make driving more stressful than it’s worth. I’d definitely come back here, especially since the 8.6 rating feels about right – it’s not trying to be the fanciest place in Seville, but it nails the fundamentals while giving you that authentic old-town experience that’s getting harder to find these days.

  A wonderful apartment, extremely comfortable with everything needed to make for a fabulous weeks holiday.
  The location is a perfect place to stay with numerous tapas restaurants on the doorstep serving excellent food with great service.

  What could be improved: Only criticism, not the hosts fault, is the noise from the 2 bell towers which chime every hour. Not great for light sleepers! Remember your earplugs 😉

  The location is perfect. I was a lovely apartment which met our expectations. We especially loved the balcony where you could watch life go by. The apartment is in good condition, climate controlled and tastefully decorated. Would book again for sure!

  Proximity for touring is wonderful. The flat was spacious, well-appointed and easily accessed.
  
  What could be improved: If you are here on a Saturday night, bring earplugs. As the adjacent club will have music until late for the younger crowd. Only an issue on Saturday for our 4 day visit.

  The apartment is very comfortable and in a perfect location to explore the city. The beds are comfortable and the view to the square from the living room was outstanding. We had a wonderful week!! We would definitely book this apartment again.
  
  What could be improved: The check in process was difficult. They asked us for the time that we would arrive. As instructed, we messaged them as our flight landed and again when we got in the cab at the airport. We then got to the apartment there was no one there. We called the number provided and they sent someone but we had to wait on the street with our bags for 45 minutes. They were very polite and apologetic but it wasn’t ideal. Even so we enjoyed our stay incredibly .

  The location was incredible and the property was lovely. Spacious and very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend for families, or two couples. It truly is at the centre of EVERYTHING. Would happily return.
  
  What could be improved: Check-in should be facilitated by a lock box with a PIN code, rather than coordinating with the host. After arriving 10 hours late due to airline mistakes and lost luggage, it would be nice to not pay a 'penalty' fee for having inconvenienced the host.

  The location of the apartment was great, faces S Francisco Plaza, step outside on the balcony one
  could look over the hustle and bustle life of the city. The bedrooms were located in the opposite of the plaza, thus avoiding the noise from the plaza. The apartment was beautifully and carefully decorated, museum like, spacious and clean, with all essentials. Two bedrooms are in two ends, each with its own bathroom, thus had good privacy, best for our situation, two couples. Overall we enjoyed our staying in the apartment very much.
  
  What could be improved: It would be a plus if the owner could provide some small quantities of basic condiment, such as salt, pepper, cooking oil.
  
  The bells (more than one) from cathedral / church ring very 15minutes, 1st night was a little difficult, later on we got used to it. For someone is really sensitive to the sound, s/he may take this into consideration.
